Céad's eleventh offering delivers a full circle moment for ASOY, who first met label boss Or:la back in 2010 while she was attending his gig in her hometown in Derry. Fast forward 15 years and the London via Cyprus moniker of SOS collective member Demi proudly presents his debut EP under ASOY.

Syz launches his new label Vitalizm with VTLZM001, a 4 track sure-shot from its founder of wily club rhythms mutated anew through adventurous construction and intuitive dancefloor nous.

Club rhythms for the soul; a nourishing manifesto for the rave, and for Syz a vital spark through which energy and groove emanate. A prolific producer with a beloved back catalogue, he is no stranger to the sounds that embody the propulsive nature of UK club rhythms. Vitzalizm though is a new venture, his inaugural label founded on the promise of showcasing new and varied developments along the Syz sonic journey. It’s a wide-ranging ethos informed via a complex web of influences that continue to make afresh of club music, while also paying homage to the culture of yesteryears with small vinyl runs and limited lathe-cut dubplate specials.

On VTLZM001, the label’s inaugural release, its founder gets right to it. Down & Twist steps first with an all-round sexy affair, a 2 step mover that swivels deftly on its latin inclinations while updating the early 00’s garage template with fwd> attitude. Next, Bakayadaskunka writhes as a complex beast, busy through the broken beat while its tactile low end purrs and throbs within. Fidget goes faster, a tribal wonderland that pumps giddy yet nimble across its myriad of basslines. The Lizm sees us off, a supple percussive playground which swings playful and loose amongst a livewire of subs, weightless pads and a faint dub echo.

A succinct dancefloor statement of intent from Syz, and an exhilarating beginning for Vitalizm.

Tectonic Sound lays down the gauntlet for the future direction of the label. The compilation comprises many producers making their Tectonic debut, including re:ni, Beatrice M., Yushh, Flora Yin Wong, and Sicaria, alongside stalwarts like 2562, Shed, and Distance. It’s an exhilarating 24-track journey through experimental, bass-heavy electronic music, with almost all tracks created by the artists specifically with Tectonic’s sound in mind - at an intersection where dubstep and techno meet.

At the vanguard of an amorphous but undeniably impactful global scene where techno propulsion and soundsystem pressure collide with rhythmic intrigue and flamboyant sound design, Timedance toasts 10 years with a compilation that continues to spill into intriguing new zones courtesy of a heavyweight gathering of non-conformist producers. 

To open proceedings, Timedance unveils "Zoomies", Pearson Sound's first ever entry in the label's catalogue.

They watched everything. They saw everything. From tall branches and from rooftops they gazed out upon the bitterness of the world below and took it all in with beady, bubbling eyes and a sense of bewilderment.

They flew through the crowds, once they were at one with the people who walked beneath.

In the evening they would shelter, away from the chaos of it all. For what else was for them to do?

They were the last birds of the sky in these parts, a rotten city left behind.

Phasmid has garnered a fierce reputation for unique, hard hitting productions in recent years. An eclectic DJ & producer of breakbeat, electro, and trance amongst a wide range of other sounds, he has become known for his distinctively clean-cut, bass-led signature - both in his own tracks and that of his label @taipantrax.

Redstone Press uncorks another anomaly with the latest offering from First Epoque – The Antonelli Scrolls; an expansive four-track EP of riddled percussive tension and mythic resonance. A relic from an unknown era, like finding a USB stick inside a fossil. Precision-tooled dread, dubbed through unknowable years.

“To The Sea” opens like an ancient machine rebooting underwater — initiated by tidal sub-pressure and log-drum basslines, while rusted pads coalesce like liquid metal in the water. Each sound feels scrubbed of excess, chiselled to bone. It’s ritualistic techno, stripped back and hollowed out, possessed by half-remembered visions of Atlantis.

“Al-Tarif” follows with sharpened urgency — syncopated low-end funk coiled inside a lattice of unstable percussion. An encrypted script traced in stuttering kicks, cavernous bass drops and vapour-trailed synths; its structure feels less composed than summoned. The rhythm moves like a ritual procession: reverent and deliberate. Each percussive accent lands like a glyph etched into ancient stone.

“WRONGMANOEUVRE” — a misstep in the timeline, or a doorway left ajar. The track opens in disarray: detuned pads flicker like emergency lighting in a decompression chamber, while subaquatic kick-drums stutter and buckle under their own weight. The groove is broken but determined, dragging itself forward with a sense of mechanical dread.

Final transmission “Époque No. 25” hits like a rupture in the temple wall — a burst of high-velocity techno carved from scorched circuitry and panic-coded rhythm. It barrels upwards with relentless thrust. There’s no refuge here — only pursuit, propulsion. An overwhelming sense that something unknowable is closing in.

There’s no overt genre allegiance on The Antonelli Scrolls — just the steady unravelling of linear time. One for the initiates. Not easily explained. Not meant to be.
