While the physical process of cutting one off acetates may not exist so much anymore, the culture of sharing unreleased material in close circles of producers and DJ’s thrives behind the scenes

It was only right to ask TMH001 badboy to record side A. 
“All the best stuff is unreleased” to quote DJ Perception himself. 

For side B, we could think of no better person to call upon than Highrise. King of the raw rolling production’s who probably could have recorded hours of his own dubs

Exclusive: Pépé Elle - We Ain't Taking Orders (Main Phase Remix)

Last year saw the release of 3 Feet Deep Records second instalment: four tracks from four artists. A year later those four original cuts get the remix treatment – but it remains a 'family thing'. While ZeroFG chose a deeper approach for his Heavy Rain track, Takjacob reworked Ollie Rant's take Tonysbox. Lastly Main Phase and Pépé Elle remix each other's tracks Alright Then respectively We Ain't Taking Orders. The latter is playful deep UKG take with, of course, break-ish elements and a synth-hook-line that is as intriguing as a Biggie track from the 90s combined with some R&B magic and a lush bass line with bleepy elements anf finished with spheric pad-sequences. In other words: Main Phase created one of these club tracks that stick with you for a long time!
