About the artist
There are two people behind the DJ-name DER EFFEKT: Marcel Fenkart and Marco Glabonjat. These two Austrians have been well known in the music scene of the Rhine Valley and in Vorarlberg over the last 15 years. In 2006 they got to know each other due to their love towards music and their sensitivity towards electronic music. Since then they've been very successful as a DJ-team.

Entering 2022's fourth quarter Eleven Of July's BrokenHearted presents the second installment of their 'Antologia' series. Landing in April of this year, the inaugural edition not only has the distinction of being BrokenHearted's first release but brought together a cohesive group of artists in Q.U.A.K.E, Riggel, Santiago Luna and Celestial Inside and label boss Eleven Of July. Electronic music tastemakers Adriatique, John OO Fleming and Mind Against and more quickly chimed in with support and with that BrokenHearted blazed a trail with their first offering. Now on the strength of Eleven Of July's 'Asleep' EP, the label presents 'Antologia II' featuring (in order of appearance) Eleven Of July, Shamans, Lucio Consolo and Agustín Buaon, Atóm (IE) and Come To Me. 
 
It's been a prolific summer season for BrokenHearted label boss Eleven of July. Well received projects for Area Verde, Deep Tales and Outer Space Oasis have ridden the tidal waves of June's 'Asleep' in fine style. Now anchoring the latest edition of 'Antologia', the globe-trotting artist presents his latest studio creation 'Love Over Reason'. Eleven of July expounds his lavish future vision here, with obsessive rhythms and hyperspace melodies blanketing punishing beats and machine-gun grooves. Clever vocal co-actions marry metallic motifs throughout, while a pyrotechnic break preludes a finale of boundless energy that is perfectly dialed for peak time play.

With a discography that counts over one hundred records - collected in less than five years - on labels like Movement, Click, Us & Them, Dear Deer, Beyond Now, KDB, Black Square, Awen, Three Hands, Natura Viva and many others, Eleven Of July is a visionnarie, talented old school Dj and music producer among the most prolific and recognised in his genre. Operating at the heart of the melodic techno genre since its early beginnings, Augusto Proto aka Eleven Of July has now established himself as one of the movement’s core artists. World class DJs such as Adriatique, Dubfire, Above & Beyond, Mind Against, Undercatt and more have chimed in with support for his stylized take on the genre. Colombia's forthcoming duo Ten Systems debut their first Radikon full length EP for a late autumn celebration of the everlasting sunshine state. Here comes ‚California'! Noisy straightforward beats plant the seeds for the emerging warmth of Angus Powell's voice, which slowly surfaces through masterfully cut vocal snippets. Atmospheric melancholia sets the tone for this release's centerpiece.

Remix duty is taken personal this time. None other than labelheads Jonas Saalbach and Guzy offer their collaborative reconstruction of ‚California', spiced up with some grains of BPM, pumping synths lines and hypnotic melody patterns, culminating into a proper main stage peak time drop.

'Essence', a jointventure with LORRAINNE, closes the melodic techno triarchy with a pressuring groove, while still leaving space for oases of heavily breathing synthesizers. Techy Snares and Hi Hat placements offer an unescapable dance indulging substructure.
