Paul Angelo and Don Argento return to Tash's Movement Recordings with a new EP entitled 'Dear Cave'. Hailing from Cyprus, the much loved duo have become a core part of the Greek imprint since making their debut in 2017 with a contribution to the label's 'Technical Progress' Vol. 7 collection. Paul and Don have since gone on to appear an additional four times while also finding a home on Beat Boutique, Dopamine Music, Sound Avenue and Soundteller Records. Now following a stunning remix of Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic's 'Rumors' the duo lands back on Movement with a three track artist showcase.

Beginning with the title track 'Dear Cave' Paul and Don continue to explore the dark progressive minded ethos which has made them such in demand artists. Energetic and fluid, punchy beats and perfectly contoured bass unite for a robust low end. Dramatic pulses and piercing stabs add mightily to the rhythmic core as layers of percussion build momentum with each successive loop. Enticing yet mysterious, ghostly atmospheres take the narrative into a tense break, melting down to an arcane rumble before a tasteful build cues a powerful drop.

'Absence' follows suit with a more minimalistic yet equally mystical approach. Acidic rhythms carry the rolling groove while haunting atmopheres sweep across the stereo field. Once again drama and tension are at a premium here, as a timely break and tasteful modulation resets the groove for a chugging finale.

The third and final selection 'Day Walker' finds the duo lightening the mood just a touch to round out the release. It's meaty kick and rolling underbelly provide a perfect balance of warmth and drive. Playful arps layer the commanding groove as astral effects and icy overlays steal the air. The narrative shifts with a second act of broken beats, transferring energy into a short break before a rush of noise sparks a smooth and reflective final act. It caps off a welcome return to Movement Recordings for Paul and Don, a production duo who continue to operate at their creative peak.

Norwegian duo Ost & Kjex are definitely long-time players on the scene. Hailing from cozy and quiet Oslo, this 'hat-wearing' band has never solely stuck to any of the existing genres of the electronic palette, swaying and ideally balancing between underground electronic music and Indie pop music. Marking the list of the worldwide respected artists co-working for collaborations with Ost & Kjex, which include Diynamic's honcho Solomun, Jamie Jones, HOSH, alongside three masterpiece albums, the tracks of which have been our the most intimate life soundtracks during the 2000s and 2010s, we can't be happier than now to release this gorgeous EP on Eleatics.
The main title 'Kaputt' is a jewel. Tied with it's extended and colorful melodies it brings a very lyric mood, which is only multiplied with the tender, pleasant and distinctive vocals.
Dutch producer Karmon makes the original breathing in his way: creating and adding so much background and barely heard, but working sounds and layers, which do help for this version to sound and to be called a 'hit' one. Brilliant appearance.
Italian duo Moonwalk is harmonizing 'Kaputt' and let the original to be implied with their vision: effective, punching and clearly working one.
'No9' is throwing us to another pole of Ost & Kjex: experimental and contrasted. Crunchy percussions and dark synthesizing sounds leave a solid impact on the sterling package.
So play these loud, feel these frankly, dance crazy with these.

With his long-awaited debut on ICONYC Noir we welcome Casper Keys to the label. Casper delivers a slice of early summer vibes titled 'Dreramer'. The original track kicks things off nicely with its melancholic moodiness shining through as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry chords sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth. The highlight has to be the amazing vocal that elevates the track to another level. 

Label favorite Dowden, who needs no introduction created a rework full of tension from the word go, as the atmospheric vibe subtly keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication. "Essential stuff!"

Next up we are very excited to welcome back Alfonso Muchacho, who marks his return to the label with a classy remix for the ages, the British producer who is known for his deep melodic progressive influenced sounds, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive. It's all about the groove, cool house vibes and the deep driving beats that are working their magic around Alfonso's wonderfully arranged keys and the wonderful use of the epic vocal. Alfonso once again has reminded us with his classy rework why we are so fond of him.
