Showcasing fresh sounds which make you feel the summer vibe of the city is one of the passions of Einmusik who selected the tracks for the newest Bella Mar compilation. It’s number 10 already and will be out in summer 2023 with names like Pretty Pink, BLANCAh, Rafael Cerato, Dave Seaman, Nihil young, Kasia, Jody Barr and others on it. The compilation mixes the sound of a changing world with its up and downs and creates a safe cosmos for all dreamers and dancers.

One of the TAU family’s prodigious talents, Upercent, returns for a four-track expedition into the creative expanse of his brilliant mind. Upercent’s unique sound, blending organic with synthetic and unorthodox effects, has captivated dance floors around the world. 
Unsurprisingly, his ability to weave stirring melody and emotive storylines into his productions has led to releases with Innervisions, Kompakt and Watergate, as well as several outings with TAU. With Etapa Plena, Upercent further solidifies his distinct sound...

The EP opens with ‘Tranqui Tronco’, a nifty roller driven by dense percussion. A repeated vocal motif appears as the intro guides the listener into the first breakdown. Upercent’s use of unusual sounds and effects demonstrate his unmistakable sonic fingerprint, as the cut increases in vibrancy. Another breakdown raises the temperature even higher and the track rolls out with the same contagious, driving rhythm.

‘Nuquelar’ follows, with a deep tribal rhythm oscillating at its core. As we dive head first into this cut, hefty drums and a range of urgent chimes and instrumental licks add depth. Warped vocals are also looped into the fold, creating a cacophony of odd sounds as Upercent carefully builds the tension with a huge breakdown. The energetic release brings us back down to Earth with the persistent rumble of booming drums taking the track to its conclusion.

The penultimate cut is ‘Tempesta’, another dark and dense composition. Upercent’s talent for keeping it simple yet engaging, and just that little bit different, is evident here from the very start. This cut’s dramatic narrative keeps you locked in, as the percussion especially plays out a captivating story. A moment of peaceful reflection is injected at the midpoint, before we’re immersed in sonic theatrics once more. Moody drums and solemn bass giving this one its gloomy atmosphere.

Finally, ‘Ruta’ closes the EP with its insistent energy. In typical Upercent style, this cut develops in a considered manner with layers of sound building steadily, cultivating a sinister atmosphere. The voice of a maniacal character enters the fray halfway through, accentuating the unsettling vibes. An ominous tone pervades throughout, leaving the listener fully immersed in the dark side as the EP comes to an end...

Two years on since his latest incursion on Stil vor Talent with 'The Pictures', Switzerland-based producer Kellerkind turns in his newest four-tracker, 'Forest Mystery'. Delving in his natural inclination towards mystique-imbued tribal sounds, this new effort packs a serious Afro-futuristic kind of punch, laced with a powerhouse hi-tech feel bound to cut a path of devastation across the dance floors. Fully designed and kitted out to meet the requirements of extensive DJ use, this new package lets its whirlwind of polyrhythmic boogie and cosmic groove do the talk as Kellerkind ushers us in a blazing furnace of sorts.
Where the title-track 'Forest Mystery' flexes a bouncy swagger flush with middle-eastern tropes - including some fiery darbukkah solos, and nicely complemented by classic piano house stabs, flamenco-informed clapping and a hi-intensity buildup to rev it all with irresistible club impact, 'Karinda' treats us to a further hypnotic sequence of stripped-back East Coast grooviness and dubbed-out sensuality, bridging the gap between loungey house and proper ritualistic music thanks to spellbinding shaman-like vocal samples out the foggiest jungle.
On 'Mantra', a more aggro, industrial-flavoured verve echoes far and wide, ready to take on any sound system with both that typically intoxicating vox hoodoo wrapping itself around a thunderous techno backbone. Giving us a taste of eternity on the nostalgic closer 'Time', Kellerkind pulls out a massively emotional firework of Prophet-6-powered space dementia and intricate drum programming, laced with an unstoppable bass-driven landslide devouring everything in its wake, making clear 'Forest Mystery' dwells in the club and nowhere else. Set your woofers to 11 and blast away.
