Brainslugs starts with the trip through the vortex away from the light and into the dark. The track is un-settling and rocky in parts just like moments on any real journey. Brainslugs is a reference to the Brainslugs planet from Futurama (not our first reference to this show). The planet is in turmoil with warring tribes killing each other over idealistic old books and ancient buried combustible geologic deposits of organic materials. Luckily in the close of Brainslugs we spiral away from the surface of this eerie world.
