Coldplay - A Sky Full Of Stars (Hardwell Remix)
Featuring several world exclusive premieres during his EDC Las Vegas set last weekend, Hardwell unveiled not just the first single (Arcadia) from his forthcoming, as yet untitled, studio album, but also his mesmerizing remix of Coldplay’s beautiful collaboration with Avicii ‘A Sky Full of Stars’.
 
Adding subtle touches, the Dutch megastar producer has succeeded in retaining the euphoria of the original, whilst giving the record a fresh progressive deepness, that sees it journey down a new, more club driven tone. Frontman Chris Martin’s voice is as dreamlike as ever, swelling alongside the song’s catchy pop-like melody, but the sprinkling of Hardwell’s signature sound gives the record another gear, transforming it into an anthemic masterpiece perfectly suited to the mainstage.
 
Personally invited by the label (FFRR/Parlophone) to remix the second single from their new album ‘Ghost Stories’, Hardwell said “I’ve long been a fan of the band so when I discovered they wanted me to remix one of the tracks from their new album, it was really a ‘wow’ moment for me. It’s such an honor and I’m really proud of the outcome of the track. When I dropped it at EDC Las Vegas, the crowd’s reaction was electrifying; it still gives me Goosebumps thinking about it!”

Darktown Rag is our 12th release and by The Swing Bot from France, actually based in Vienna. It gets a bit deeper and has House and little Trance influences. Electro Swing is constantly evolving and is being trimmed with many other genres, that's what it lives on and that's what made the genre more famous. An old Johannes Brahms theme sample leads and grooves casual through the track. It's an interesting and successful mixed Electro Swing track!

UK based singer and trombonist Ashley Slater and Wolfgang Lohr from Berlin have teamed up for a Christmas song. The ‘Zat You Santa Claus’ original was composed by Jack Fox (1921) and later performed by Louis Armstrong (1953). In this contemporary Swing Hop / Jazz Hop cover version by Wolfgang Lohr & Ashley Slater there are warm vintage Big Band sounds and Big Beats to enjoy. A touch of Jazz, with a triplet Hip Hop beat and a fat bassline round off this new interpretation of the Xmas traditional song. Ashley Slater provides this tune real character with his distinctive and scratchy voice and he recorded a trombone section as well. Wolfgang Lohr has produced everything and arranged the rest of the brass and big band instruments. It's perfect for the Christmas season, with a mixture of modern and nostalgic vintage feeling! 🎄🎅❄️🍪
