Miane is equal to evolution. Formerly known as Taty Munoz, Miane steps up to become a strength by own right in the electronic music scene. Based in Ibiza, Miane’s music has a distinct staple, unique and difficult to put in words.

Miane’s story is one of hard work and DIY dedication. That, added to her immense talent, have managed to put her among the most interesting artist to keep an eye on by the scene. Without growing in a musical environment, Miane is the living incarnation of the DIY culture that is taking over the electronic music realm. Since 2013, when she finally based herself in Ibiza, Miane has evolved and developed her sound, as well as her label, Syne with an elegant and well-thought.

Nowadays, after years dedicated to the growth of her label and her DJ career, Miane is now focused on producing, her real true passion. Mixing the best features in each of house’s subgenres, with her unique use of black voices – that she manages to tweak at will – and that magic touch that works as secret ingredient, Miane manages to empower each and every one of her tracks. Thanks to the sound palette she has managed to develop over her more than seven years in the industry, Miane’s profile is – without questioning – one of those newcomers to keep an eye on this 2019.

Her DIY mentality, her passion, and the curiousness she develops towards any innovation – both digital and analogic – have made her become a more complete artists sound-wise, evolving naturally towards that warm and organic sound she feels more attracted to.

Swiss-based Kosovan Sabb is marking ten years in the underground with Radiant., a fantastic debut album that shows why his sound has been at the heart of the scene for a decade. 

Releasing on labels like Moon Harbour, Circus and Saved, this broad and expressive album comes on his own new label, also called Radiant. It shows off his range of styles from melody rich grooves to more driving kicks, via hands-in-the-air moments and more thoughtful and percussive tracks featuring his own young daughter. 

To mark the occasion, the DJ has put together a special mix for Times Artists. It’s an hour of the sort of colourful house and techno that he plays in clubs all around the world and is the sound of an artist at the peak of his powers.

YENI is a hugely driven person. Once she fell in love with techno she decided she wanted to make her own, so she spent time in dark clubs watching and learning from the DJs. Even though she was only 15 years old, she learnt how to get sounds of analog synths and Fruity Loops, took what she made and handed it out on CDs to people who went to Leipzig’s 10/40 techno club. She started to build a profile and now, years later, the East Germany born artist is a regular on the global circuit who has played across Europe, South Africa, India and the United States under her alter ego.

After years as part of the Alter Ego, which took her to key parties round the world, YENI is now focused on solo work. She is a strong-willed character who does things her own way. Music brings out visceral reactions in her, and she always tries to convey the same strong feelings with her productions and DJ sets.

“I am not the kind of fish that swims with the shoal,” she states. “I am the one who tries out exactly the opposite; the things that are not currently hyped.” As such, this classically trained pianist, vocalist and former soprano choir singer has a sophisticated sound that is keen to experiment and head in unknown new directions. It has lead to releases on well-regarded labels like Alex Bau’s Credo, Florida Music, Unknown Territory and Complexed Records, and has found its way into the bags of tastemakers like Adam Beyer, Agoria and Charlotte De Witte. She is also an in-demand vocalist who worked with other producers such as Drumcomplex.

More recently, this infectiously enthusiastic character has started her own label Cyborgs in Love, which put out her own fierce Hang On EP. The label deals in proper techno and, drawing on her background when she worked as a Management Consultant crunching numbers for insurance companies in Switzerland, has quickly become a quality operation. DJ Emerson, Wigbert, Drumcomplex, Rob Hes, Andres Campo and Roland M. Dill are all part of the Cyborg family.

“I loved to be successful in my normal job, but I could not only live this nine to five thing,” she says. “I need an extraordinary lifestyle by spending my weekends in dark techno clubs.” So that’s what she does, weaving together high octane sets of uncompromising techno with compelling grooves and well-crafted synths that come together to create stark atmospheres. It has taken her to play alongside the likes of Slam and Ellen Allien in Finland, at Nature One in Germany and her own label showcase during ADE. Having more than proved herself, she is now signed to Times Artists alongside the likes of Matthias Tanzmann and Timo Maas and is an essential voice in the global techno conversation.

The past few years have seen Oliver Dollar’s star rise to be a recognisable staple within house music. But it was 2011 when this Berlin-based producer gained the attention he deserved in the form of his first Beatport #1 “Doin’ Ya Thang” – released on Play It Down; Made To Play’s sister label.

“Doin’ Ya Thang” remained at the #1 spot for an astounding 5 weeks and continued to sit in the top ten selling over 40k downloads to date, also topping the Resident Advisor chart. This success was quickly followed up with monster-cuts ‘Granulated Soul’ and ‘Hoes’, both again on Play It Down.

2014 was another huge year for Oliver, dropping the ‘$’ sign to become simply Oliver Dollar. He released his biggest smash yet as he reunited with Swiss Jazz House aficionado Jimi Jules for their much- hyped ‘Pushin’ on’ released on the mighty Defected. Not only did it give Dollar #1 status on Beatport again, it was also a huge cross-over hit featuring in the UK charts (peaking at #15). After the tracks’ on-going success Oliver Dollar and Jimi Jules continue to work together on various projects including a remix of Freaks’ Wake Up on Rebirth Records.

Other notable Collaborations in 2014 included releasing with Cajmere on his label Cajual and also being part of his Green Velvet album on Relief Records ‘Dance To My Beat’ which was a huge success. He also remixed Romathony’s ‘Let Me Show You Love’ for Glasgow Underground which turned heads, and the ‘Made For The Night Compilation’ with Jesse Rose soon followed, which was accompanied by a world tour and global shows with Defected.

2015 saw Oliver continue to fly as he launched his own label ‘Industry Standard’. The first release ‘Shout Away’ was a collaboration with Chuck Daniels, a dark-disco club-ready track that was made in Detroit. Of the label Oliver comments ‘I always wanted to do a label…The vision is to have crazy quality control, I don’t want to put out a release every month.”  Other highlights in 2015 included his debut at the much-respected Movement festival in Detroit, a remix for the mighty Matthias Tanzmann on Moon Harbour records and a fresh collaboration with legendary Robert Owens and fellow German Tensnake.

The Dollar wasn’t any slouch in 2016, with a heavy international touring schedule he has still put releases in the right places remixing Green Velvet’s legendary cut ‘Flash’ for Relief Records, an original releases titled ‘Go Down’ on his home label base Play It Down, and a collaboration with Kenny Dope titled ‘Muggin’ on Kenny’s legendary Dopewax imprint. Then 2017 saw a selection of releases & remixes on Play It Down, Yoruba, Arms & Legs, Kling Klong.

Finally, his much-anticipated debut album is due to drop in 2018 which will deliver a selection of killer cuts that he’s been crafting for well over a year, featuring some formidable collaborating artists. With an album world tour being scheduled from the release you know Oliver will continue to keep pushin’ on another day for another dollar!

This native of Madrid made his debut in November 2010. Since then, he has made a name for himself as one of the most talented Spanish artists on stage today. He has made an impact on the International scene following with his entries on Beatport’s Top 100 tracks list. His work is rapidly catching on and DJs such as Marco Carola, Erick Morillo, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber, Paco Osuna, Roger Sanchez, Umek, Nic Fanciulli, Stefano Noferini, Gaetano Parisio, Los Suruba, Timo Maas, Yousef and many more play his tracks.

He has performed in clubs in the United Kingdom, USA, Germany, Italy, Greece, Spain, Switzerland, Bulgaria, among many others. He has already worked for record labels, such as Snatch!, Saved, Stereo Productions, Moon Harbour, Material, Deeperfect, Suruba X, Glasgow Underground, Nervous…

After much thought, he made a concerted effort to set up his own label. His efforts bore fruit and he founded Lemon‐Aid Music.

In his own words, Dennis describes his style as “deep‐tech and techno”, and his mixes as “booming beats and melodies with a deft touch of dub, always aiming to work the crowd and radiate positive energy.” He tries to make his presence felt and leave his mark on every stage he performs.

There is a fine line between genius and insanity that Basti Grub has been balancing on for over 10 years. A time of intrepid experimentation with different musical influences and stylistic outbursts. A multi-faceted coming of age process that has made him what he is today – a creative madman whose mental orchestra never stops.

Whether its different instruments, modular systems or synths Basti Grub who was born in Frankfurt loves the unpredictable and never limits himself by thinking in conventional terms.

From a very early age onward it became clear that Basti´s fascination with music would take center stage in his life. The roots: reggae music, a Roland MC 303, turntables and life-changing trips to Omen and Robert Jonson which would lay the foundation to Grub´s concept of club-orientated sound.

About two years ago Basti Grub made a musical leap forward that took him to where he was already aiming for in his beginnings – a sophisticated minimalist yet groovy sound with high standards. This development did not go unnoticed and led to Basti Grub becoming the producer one of the Techno institution Timo Maas.

Basti Grub is currently working on his fourth studio album and participating in a variety of new and interesting projects that are yet to come out.

Matthias Tanzmann has been one of the leaders the house conversation for more than two decades now. He is one of the prominent residents for the Circoloco crew at Ibiza's iconic DC10 in Ibiza, heads up the agenda-setting Moon Harbour label and releases his slick, forward-looking house and techno on labels like Dirtybird and Saved. On top of this, along with Martin Buttrich and Davide Squillace, he is one third of Better Lost Than Stupid, a red hot DJ and studio collective who put out their debut studio album Wild Slide in 2019, hot on the heels of Tanzmann's own latest career-spanning and autobiographical solo album, Round and Round with guests like Steve Bug and Mathias Kaden. He might have been doing this for over 20 years, but still, Matthias Tanzmann remains as influential as ever.

New originals and remixes and also some collaborations are in the pipeline so be prepared for some hot stuff coming in the future – you’ll definitely dance!

From time to time it feels like a dream. The big boys are playing his records and the party goes on and on. David Jach is no longer one of those DJs…He found his way, his style and works steadily on his magic. Since years, his records are lauded, and his tour schedule is heavy these days. Jach represents a new generation of musicians, who rely on their own feelings rather than on the “great hypes”. And still, his sound somehow manages to sneak in between the almost identical sounding tracks of the Beatport Top20. However, David Jach does not only count on his vinyl productions but also on his live qualities. The freshness of his performance is catching and evokes an almost romantic picture of perfect Open-Air-Days and Club nights. Colourful, slightly soaked with minimal-house and deep sound elements, always a bit nostalgic but at the same time several steps ahead of the usual bubbling techno-releases.

Through both his remixes and original works that went several times No. #1 in the Beatport charts, he caught the attention of the upper echos of the industry with Carl Cox, Black Coffee and Pete Tong just some of the Artists supporting his music.
