Her mix consists mostly of tracks she has from her early days 
of collecting vinyl and DJing. The tracks are dark, dystopic, ravy, spehric and driving 
at the same time. In her sets she always pays attention to give producers who fly under the 
radar a chance to be heard and it is important to her not to play only the music of cis men or white men. With her sound it's hard to imagine the Leipzig techno scene without her and as a crew 
member of the Nebula collective, which among other things organizes regular parties at the 
Institut für Zukunft, produces its own podcast series as well as releases and many other artists, 
she is part of the feminist network Feat.Fem, which campaigns for more balance in the areas of art, culture and clubbing. Thanks for digging through your record collection for our facticity series and

Facticity #006 Podcast - illousion

Hey friends, our Facticity #007 podcast is contributed by Dying(Rod Aguero). We became aware of him through his last ep with Bakarat and his latest solo ep "Ciudad Incógnita E​.​P. "on Phillipe Petit's label Knotweed Records and wanted to give him a place in the series. His sound is classic, detroit-infused mixed with his preference for tribal elements and also hard techno pieces. In the interview Rodrigo describes some more of what we wanted to know. -Since when do you make music and how did you get into it?

I got to know electronic music through some CDs that my cousin gave me to listen to Jeff Mills and Carl Cox sessions, who at that time were mixing tribal and hard techno. I didn't know at the time that this kind of music would have a big influence on my own productions.
As time went by I got to know the most underground clubs in Buenos Aires and a desire grew inside me to transmit with my own music what I felt on the dancefloor.
From 2010 we started to experiment with music together with my best friend Barakat and from that moment make music together or each one with his own project. We always had a passion for music! 
	
-Where are you based?

I am currently living in Buenos Aires - Argentina

-What was your last release?

My latest album "Ciudad Incognita" was released on January 15, 2021 by the French label Knotweed Records for their 10th Anniversary of the label. This album shows my different visions of techno, making a journey through sounds without limits.

-Where can people hear you if there was no corona?

Buenos Aires is a city that never sleeps and before the corona existed, people could listen to me in some clubs and also in different more underground events with few people but nowadays we have a new reality that makes everything a bit more virtual.

-Can you describe your podcast in two-three sentences?

My podcast is a selection of timeless music and that creates a journey between sounds and my influences, combining hard beats with tribal groove.
