Adrift in Tonalism 2014

I created Robots in 1986 after seeing the original 1984 Terminator movie. It has an interesting story line about our addiction to owning things. Robots is a take on a future where robots make everything we need and it is all free until the world is taken over by the dystopian Controllers and we become the robots.

Part of my jazz and electronic experiments from the early to mid-80's. I did all the instrument and voice tracks using multi-track recording techniques with sequencing, MIDI and multi-track tape.

I am J D Emmanuel. My music is designed to enhance deep meditative, or altered states, to allow the listener to personally connect to the Creator of All that exists in the Universe, ie, our Source of Being. My music style is to first create a foundation using cyclic, poly rhythmic music, then build several layers of improvised leads and rhythms that allows you to transcend time and space.
