Tally G is an American drum and bass and jungle DJ who sometimes dabbles in breaks and dark progressive house. She holds residencies with Boomslang Recordings, Siren Project, The Distinguished, Proper Chicago, Syncopation DNB, and THC Kru. She's one of the cofounders of DNBtherapy, a dnb night in her hometown of El Paso, TX.

More breakbeat wizardry from Maverick Friske on his now buy on sight imprint Requisite with two more cuts of masterful yin vs yang futurized Drum & Bass.

“Reprizal” aims straight for the jugular with chest out stabs, growling subs and B Boy attitude whilst Apache breaks duel back and forth in an apocalyptic call and response.

Flip for the aptly titled “Light Beams,” where neon synth horns and hypnotizing arpeggios wash down in waves of atmosphere, shining warm sun rays through the Jungle canopy of clattering breaks and 808 groove to bring early morning dancers back out of the darkness.

Summer scorched the calendar to transparency, and what’s left in the body is a warm aftertaste you don’t want to smother, but slowly cool—carefully, without drama. “Songularity / Come True” by Distant Future & Krot arrives exactly in that moment: when the heat still lingers under the skin, yet you already sense a cold storm of thoughts, discipline, and new creative victories on the horizon.
