Christopher Lawrence released his first mix compilation 'Rise' on Fragrant Records in 1997. This release, along with future compilations Temptation, United States of Trance Empire and Around the World - plus his original productions for Hook Recordings were pivotal in the launch of an international career which has spanned almost twenty years.

Rise (1997)

First production of 2015 Martin presents AirRush a track made purely on Propellerhead Reason 8. The track is currently unsigned as it is not even 2 weeks old but demo's have been sent out to well established labels.

The reason behind the title?
A tv program aired in the UK called Fanatics where contestants have an addiction to tings they like. one contestant was a fanatic over rollercoasters and a question was asked about naming them and suddenly the contestant said Rush and another named Air..with this I suddenly switched the words around and that's how the track name was formed..AirRush is a collective of two well known rollercoasters in the UK.

Here is a track I produced back in 2006 called the Blessing. Will admit the mastering could be better but hey back then I was new to making music :). The track had remixes from SoundLift, Sovve, DK Project.

Reason behind the title?
I passed my driving test and not even two weeks into it I was in an accident not of my choice or fault, car was a write off all I had injury wise was a cut the size of a 5pencepiece,Dime,1 Euro. With this in mind I felt blessed to still be here and so the name was created 'The Blessing'.

One of my favourite all time trance tracks 'Galen Behr & Hydroid - Carabella (Galen Behr vs. Orjan Nilsen Remix)' combined with one of my favourite vocal trance tracks from the same time, John O'Callaghan [feat. Audrey Gallagher] - Take It All Away' these two tracks were just made for each other, just listen and there will be no going back to the original!!

John O'Callaghan vs Galen Behr & Hydroid - Take It All Away/Carabella [Tim Hart Mashup]

Another production for 2015, this one is at 135bpm. Bird chirping samples, some nice vocals. One of those sort of tracks you can sit back relax and enjoy after a hard days work.

Reason behind the name?
Well most would name it something like  "Above the Amazon or Rainforest etc" I felt it made sense to let your senses and imagination take over and imagine yourself anywhere in the world Above the Tree's. Tranquillity, Peaceful and so on.

REMIX CONTEST: Cream (PL) - Rhythmica

Christopher Lawrence joined forces with Paul van Dyk for a tour of Argentina in November 2014. The pair who recorded an Essential Mix together in 2006 share a long history, being two of a small handful of trance DJs who pioneered the genre in the mid 1990's. They have played many festivals and club shows together, but this was the first time they have embarked on a tour. They were joined by Tomas Heredia.

The tour hit Rosario on Nov 21st, Buenos Aires on Nov 22nd and Mendoza on Nov 23rd.

This is a live recording of Christopher's set at Mandarine Park in Buenos Aires.
