Kasious (Tim Hartog) hails from Toronto, Canada which is  known for its drum and bass talent. He fell in love with the music in 2005 after being dragged out to a party. With just a taste of drum and bass, Tim instantly knew that he wanted to learn how to dj himself. He quickly picked up the skill and spent many long hours crafting his techniques and buying tons of vinyl. Over the years to come he would create his own known style of mixing and became known underground by playing all vinyl sets out at clubs in and around the Greater Toronto Area. 

The production chapter of his career began in 2011, When he developed a hunger for making the music not just playing it out. It quickly became apparent that he had a calling for this side of the drum and bass scene as well. Along with his partner in crime Reximus the two have obtained an extensive collection of old hardware equipment that they use exclusively for their production. Currently Kasious and Reximus are in the process of starting up their own all vinyl record label (Convoluted Recordings) which will be based out of Toronto and are hopeful to have some fresh releases soon. You can also catch Kasious live every other Friday (odd weeks) from 7-8:30 pm EST on jungletrain.net.
