Here is the recording from my Micro Jaxon alias set from Esoteric Festival 2023
I played at 8:30 in the morning on Sunday. There were very few attendees to begin with (was absolutely ok though). 
It completely filled my heart right up seeing a small gander of beautiful friends that came to get there ears tendered too. 

Upon the first mix, I found myself delving into my special 'breaking the barriers' headspace, 
I so often find myself in. 
I could really feel into the experimental sound collage dynamic flow...

In this mix, there is a style of mixing quite coherent in the sound.
I call it 'gut instinct, devine cosmic timing, sound art blends' purposely in a collaging state, mixing different tempos together, ripe with an array of effects to marry unexpected contrasts in a full spectrum audio archive analysis.

Released on Earth Day of 2018 and inspired by the natural beauty and magic of the Pacific Northwest, this mix is a three and a half hour meditative journey with a focus on storytelling and organic layering. Intended for deep listening, relaxation, meditation, sound healing or contemplation, it is best described as a sound collage of many of my favorite artists' most tranquil and spaced out compositions layered with my own field recordings as well as many other recordings I dredged up from the infinite archive of the internet. This mix reflects my own imagination of a life lived along a foggy coastline, meandering between night and day, cities and forests, rain and storms, beaches and caves. Best enjoyed on some quality headphones with eyes closed or in a quiet place with good speakers, chill environment and a comfy chair.

I've included a link to Coast Protectors, an indigenous-led group focused on protecting our coast from the threat of tar sands pipelines and tankers. I've donated to them several times before and if you enjoy this mix and can spare the funds I'd love it if you could give them a donation for the work they are doing.

Rather than giving a regular tracklist, I'd like to acknowledge and thank all of the artists whose musical creations were used to make up this soundscape, as well as the land, water, animals and urban environments sampled. This mix contains music by the following artists:

Well another year has passed and festival season is upon us. Before things start to get hectic I thought it was time again to share some of my favourite chillers i've been playing over the last year. Also creates & performs under his alias projects namely Sacred Summit, Micro Jaxon, Swingtime Paradigm, Psymus Drummit & is the hybrid drummer for The Oddness & Band.

Growing up in country Victoria, Timmus started to play, make instruments & record on cassette from 4 years of age, first lyrics written at 5. As a 12 year old, he began writing his music & multitrack recording through a DAW(digital audio workstation). 

Timmus has been bringing his original eclectic sound to the streets and back to the bush since this time. Known for his long and life-changing musical journeys behind the decks, he is constantly pushing boundaries beyond genres.
Living and breathing sound & vibration religiously, building instruments, making sound & rhythm with combinations of the most unlikely objects, collecting & archiving an extremely broad spectrum of audio, incorporating field recordings, minimalism, tribalism, experimentalism, solfeggio & sacred frequencies. 

"My lifelong vision I guess, is a universal mecca meeting of organisms & culture. Songscapes that bring connection to the planet by archiving the auditory particles from eternal oceans of vibrational matter from throughout the globe. Collaging a symphony of tiny micro audio fragments of energy all together to create & initiate healing process, harmony, resonance, growth & unity for all living creatures." Timmus 

As well as being a father, Timmus is also co-owner of Australian label Smash Bang Records and has released music on labels like Beat & Path, LucidFlow, Heinz, Sprout, Subsonic, K47 Music, Smash Bang, Open Records, Stone Seed, Vapour Recordings, Lights Out Toronto, Suckmusic.
He has applied his remix touches to names like Vereya, Tonelab, Uone, Thankyou City, Nick Coleman, Jules David, Augmented, Dersu Uzala, Luke Mcd, Ronnie Gordan and Upfunk.
