Appreciating You

This song is my way of saying goodbye without really leaving.
It’s a reflection of what I’ve come to believe, that life is a circle, and love is the thread that runs through it all.

From the moment God sparked the stars into being, His love was already looking for someone to share it with.
Somehow, we became part of that story, souls made to feel the wonder He felt that day.
I’ve spent my life chasing that feeling, writing songs that tried to catch a piece of it.

When I told Wendy I was working on my own funeral song, she said, “You better hurry,” and never cracked a smile.
That line made it in here, because that’s us: laughter in the middle of the serious stuff, truth wrapped in love.

So if you ever want to talk to me, just play one of my songs.
You’ll find me in there, humming along, smiling with you.
And when the time comes, I believe our energy will rise as love and return to the body of the universe
the same sea of light that started it all.

That’s where I’ll be waiting… in My Final Home.

(Monologue)
And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. Rev 10:8-11

As the Babylonian power conquers the earth
In the final events, ushering in the new world order
While the Image is being formed
And the whole world is uniting 
There is a people being sealed, 
Growing into the statue of a perfect man
Cause the true understanding of the Book has been restored

Divine treasures hidden in our earthen vessels

The literal life of Jesus Christ
