This is a Song about those whose lives ends in a moment, perhaps even before the realization of what has occurred. Some listeners may be familiar with the Pineal Gland that exists within practically all vertebrates that secrets the most hallucinogenic substance known to mankind reffered to as DMT (N,N-Dimethyltryptamin). There are many misconceptions when it comes to this mysterious substance which monks and even 17th Century scientist, René Descartes, (who, in this authors opinion, likely learned the phrase from centuries old amazon tribes and monks in the most isolated of areas) refer to as the "third eye." In smaller doses, in a relative state of sobriety—as opposed to LSD and Psychedelic Mushrooms—and you begin to see many beautiful geographic shapes and seems to be a kind of waking state where dreamlike images occur in fluctuating beauty. The writer, intellectual, and psychedelic advocate Terrance McKenna was to DMT what Timothy Leary was to LSD in the sixties, forward. He has many interesting lectures that can be found on YouTube. This particular lecture he gives a potential user the prescription to reach the closest level of DMT one can find in the body of human whose brain is in it's last throws of life. The aforementioned Amazon Tribes called it the "Third Eye," (again, this authors opinion being, that they referred to DMT they extracted from plants [though it's unclear how plants, though they may be non-vertebrates, yet are still organic, and are living, still create DMT and  can still be found in most living creatures on this planet.] because of the extremely similar experiences by all who use it to the degree Terrance Mckenna suggests, which leads its users to describe a plane of existence far from their own where they meet a being from what they describe as an alternate universe.) This term, "third eye," was believed to be the path to Reincarnation. The time in which the human body secretes amounts of DMT unparalleled by the use of the substance under any artificial circumstances, is when the brain begins to first breakdown, the outer cells slowly dying, the dying cells scratching their way inwards towards the center of the brain where the Pineal Gland makes it's home. the gland that grows to adult size within the first year or two of birth. the Gland responsible for so many basic instincts that exists within the central part of the reptilian brain, probably one of the first and most integral gland to have surface after millennia of evolution.

The Last Song You'll Ever Sing

Because i feel influenced by almost everything around me, I have a passion to express myself anyway I can. Through music, literature, cinema. Any medium i can get my hands on. My influences range from Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground, Suicidal Rock Gods, Death and Mortality, Noise, Universal Nature, Science, Faith, Religion, Spirituality, Morality, Society, Sex, Small towns, Biology, People, Metal, Glam Rock, Andy Kaufman, Underground punk from the late 80's, Early 90's, Freestyle Blues, and, of course, David Bouchard's Dog. I went from Grunge bands like Nirvana, Earth, and The Pixies, into blues/rock bands like The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Derek and the Dominoes, and The Bluesbreakers; I went from 80’s new wave bands, like Talking heads and New Order, to modern experimentalists. Everyday, I see modern artists who set their sights selfishly inwards and completely forget about the world in which they are immersed. it's a kind of egotistical introspection I hope to replace with socially conscious and relevant music that places a spot light on the injustices of society. But how does one succeed in such an elusive industry, one that is infamous for swallowing artists like me, whole, on a regular basis? Well, by making my way through the sphincter of mainstream society’s proverbial asshole with eclecticism and accessibility as my tongs. I will make a home there, only to give it indigestion and create ulcers until it becomes septic and dies. I will help a new world grow. the old and shallow decaying material will feed amicable and altruistic ideals. We will have complete musical freedom without the need to label or compare art and artists. a world where music is not a string of contrived, pitch-perfect notes, but pure, unadulterated passion dripping with raw authenticity.
