Trust (James View Remix)

Hailing from Oxford in the United Kingdom, Timmy P has become a staple in the house scene across the past decade, racking up releases on the likes of Local Talk, Strictly Rhythm, What NxT, Nervous and of course Cécille where he returns here following 2022’s ‘Words Fail, Music Speak’ EP.
Title-cut ‘Mylo’s Groove’ leads and sees Timmy P employing a classic filter house feel via an amalgamation of choppy vocal chants ebbing and flowing amongst one another while a sturdy drum groove, gritty stab sequences and pulsating bass keep things swinging throughout.
On the flip-side is ‘Vintage B’, as the name would suggest the composition harkens back to the golden era of US, layering jazzy keys, acid squelches, brass licks and hypnotic voices atop a robust 909 drum workout.

Timmy P - Chattin' Breeze EP // Local Talk

per·co·late - an idea or feeling that spreads gradually through an area or group of people.

Our idea is simple, parties that are about finding cutting edge artists and sharing their sound with our friends.

For our launch night look forward to a music selection with roots planted in a garage led house sound with four acts who collectively should create something special.

Kicking off proceedings will be Timmy P whos latest release on Local Talk really sums up what this party is all about, give it a listen here:

http://soundcloud.com/timmyp/timmy-p-chattin-breeze-ep

Next up is Rinse FM's DJ Caspa who has been making a big impression lately, check out a few of his mixes here:

http://www.feelmybicep.com/2012/10/16/fmb-dj-caspa/

Also listen to his latest Rinsecast here: http://soundcloud.com/tundecas41/dj-caspa-all-about-raw-cuts-1

Following on we have LEFTWING & KODY who will give us their take on where they see the scene headed, with a unique, raw and stripped back sound. Give their ALiVE recordings podcast a listen.

http://soundcloud.com/leftwingaudio/leftwing-kody-alive-recordings

To round off the evening we welcome Waze & Odyssey, a pair whos record selection seems to always bring back a reminiscence of 90s shuffling hi-hats and groovy vocals. These guys are about to go interstellar with recent mixes for Disclosure and TEED . Check out our favourite selection of theirs:

http://soundcloud.com/wazeandodyssey/sets/disclosure-lividup-waze/
http://soundcloud.com/wazeandodyssey/sets/garage-ale-giveaway-1/
http://soundcloud.com/wazeandodyssey/sets/totally-enormous-extinct/

Tickets are available here:

http://www.fatsoma.com/tickets/percolate/low-members-club/london/e75944

and with a capacity of only 350 it is unlikely that you would find a more intimate setting to see any of these acts again.

All of the above will be blasted through the clubs custom VOID soundsystem, a setup also vouched for by DC10 and Sankeys.

EP032 – De Sluwe Vos (Feat. Beaumont Livingstone) – Believe EP inc. remixes by Timmy P & John Mood.

As we stride into our thirties, we decided it was time to commit some of our solid workouts to wax.

So first up we are putting our trust in Dutch wunderkind & raw house specialist De Sluwe Vos (The Sly Fox) and his vocal cohort Beaumont Livingstone and their roof raising anthem “Believe” which we firmly *ahem* believe is set to ignite dance floors across the world all summer long after being repeatedly road tested by T-Bone & JMX to rapturous results.

English gentleman Timmy P steps up for remix duties and splashes the lotion all over “Believe”, creating a great upbeat version to complement the brooding original with a mix that is bound to make great sense at any roof top parties.

“I.izab” completes the package with it’s dubbed out dark house vibe and John Mood turns it into a proper piece of blissed out techno with his mix which perfectly brings proceedings to a close.

We honestly reckon you may find it hard to get a better package deal than you'll get on these hot summer burners.

Play on!
