One year on from the unforgettable 'Vatos Locos' showcase at #BPM2016, Hector is set to launch his 'VL' label at the next edition of The BPM festival in his home country of Mexico.

The last year has been one of Hector's busiest to date, as well as juggling his busy touring schedule, he has also shown consistency in the studio with a flow of releases and remixes for vinyl focused labels; Serkal, Moan, Overall Music, Spartacus and Mindblown. His biggest achievement was conquering his four date residency at one of Ibiza's most exciting and fastest growing parties; Marco Carola's Music On. Fresh of the back of an inspirational summer, and with a clear vision in his mind of where 2016 should be heading, there is no better time for Hector to launch a project that has been a long time coming. 

Through VL, Hector is able to shine a light on his favorite up and coming DJ/producers and Vatos Locos crew members Chad Andrew, David Gtronic, Javier Carballo, Hanfry Martinez, Randall M and Sece.

Nico Avella der unter dem Künstlernamen LocoTunes bekannt ist, kam am 15.08.1986 in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Deutschland) zur Welt. Zur Musik fühlte er sich, von klein auf, stark hingezogen und war mit Leidenschaft dabei. Große Events ließ er nicht aus, und verfolgte Veränderungen in der Szene mit und teilte sie mit anderen Künstlern.

Elektronische Musik ist Kommunikation aber auch ein Weg, Menschen mit den gleichen Interessen zu treffen. Underground Party´s in kleineren Kreisen, waren Plattformen, um mit der Musik zu experimentieren, aber auch eine Möglichkeit, sich in der Szene vorzustellen. Er begeistert immer mehr Menschen mit feinen, minimalistischen Klängen und entwickelt seinen eigenen Sound, der sich von anderen Künstlern abhebt.

Electronic music is a communication, however, also a way to meet people with the same interests. Underground Party's in smaller circles, were platforms to experiment with music, but also a possibility, to establish him as an artist in the scene. He inspires more and more people with fine, minimalistic sounds and develops his own sound which contrasts with other artists.

Timo Maas is a storyteller. For him, it's never about back-to-back bangers or brainless hits, but 
about crafting, building, teasing and eventually pleasing. From hefty concrete funk to stripped-
back and brain-altering techno via psychedelic synths stronger than any drug, he knows exactly 
what to play and when. He has done so at every major club and festival on the planet from 
Tomorrowland to Kazantip, Creamfields to Coachella, while for 17 years during the golden years 
of Ibiza's Circoloco party at DC10 he was a regular guest, which is a testament to the fact that 
he has always stayed ahead of the times. 
Two-time Grammy Award-nominated Timo has made every shade of electronic music from 
famous remixes of Azzido Da Bass and Depeche Mode, leftfield reworks of Afro-Peruvian group 
Novalima and Indonesian all-female heavy metal band Voice of Baceprot via work with pop 
greats like Paul McCartney, Madonna and Placebo. But his pure love of techno keeps him 
coming back to his most famous sound. It's all united by his ability to craft weighty bass and 
rolling drums that lock you in. To dream up unusual breakdowns, freaky vocal treatments and 
deftly designed details that sound like nothing else. He has released on majors like Warner and 
Virgin and underground staples like Stripped Down Records, Cocoon, Mobilee, Tenampa and 
Last Night On Earth. But whatever he does and wherever he does it, Timo is always 
investigating new musical grounds.
