Her skills as a talent scout are highly regarded, and in her time at Mobilee she played a pivotal role in nurturing a roster of artists that included Pan-Pot, Sebo K, Rodriguez Jr., and Kevin Over. She is also one of Germany’s most popular radio personalities, and during the years 2000 to 2017, she hosted the weekly show ‘Dance Under The Blue Moon’, Berlin’s longest-running underground dance music radio show on Fritz FM. Since then, she has moved on to one of Berlin’s largest broadcasters, Eins FM, to host a new show every Friday night called the ‘Club Room’.

🗯🗯 How Did Corona change your artist life? 🗯🗯

Corona turned my artist life completely upside down. Even though I still had the chance to play a few shows during the summer, the majority of my gigs got cancelled. I have no proper income since March and I’m depending on financial support from the government since a few months. It was not always easy to be creative in the studio. Mentally 2020 was a rollercoaster with a lot of ups and downs but I’ve found new inspiration and produced plenty of new music.

🗯🗯 Where did you record the mix and how did you feel? 🗯🗯

I recorded it in my studio at Holzmarkt. I mixed new tunes with older ones and added a couple of my own edits, as always. Since I’m not playing regularly anymore I really appreciated the opportunity to do a mix for you guys. It is something I always loved to do and it reminds me of my first steps as a DJ, making mix tapes for my friends.

🗯🗯 What are your wishes for the time after Corona? 🗯🗯

Since the pandemic will remain amongst us for quite a while, I do not really think about it. Even with the vaccine we will have to live with it for a long time. So when is after Corona? Autumn 2021 or even somewhen in 2022?

I definitely wish that we all get off it unscathed and healthy. Regarding my actual job I wish that the culture and event industry gets finally the right respect and support from the government and that we will be able to continue somehow after Corona. At the moment it doesn’t look promising even though there’s plenty of money to help.

The last years it became a tradition to play on 25. December in my beloved hometown of Bückeburg in Germany for the lovely guys of Trampolinmusic... for the known circumstances, we cannot do it obvs this year, but we wanted to give you a little "present".... Trampolinmusic and Wesertekk and I have a 2 hr live recording from my set at the great WILDE3 Festival from last years summer... enjoy the trip and merry X Maas from us all to you!! 



Alle Jahre wieder treffen wir uns am 25. Dezember in den Kronenwerken für einen gepflegten Weihnachts-Rave. So zumindest war es in den vergangenen Jahren. Eine Herzensveranstaltung von Trampolinmusik, Wesertekk, und auch Timo Maas, der es sich nie nehmen ließ, ein paar Stunden an den Turntables zu stehen. Wie wir alle wissen, ist dieses Jahr jedoch alles anders. Ihr seid sicher, wie auch wir, müde von diesen Floskeln. 
.
Fakt ist, dass besonders die Kulturbranche unter den Beschränkungen leidet. Musikkollektive haben immerhin noch das Glück, keine enormen laufenden Kosten zu haben. Allerdings leiden generell die ehrenamtliche Arbeit sowie die Vereinsarbeit stark unter den Corona-Maßnahmen. Wir hatten für dieses Jahr einige Veranstaltungen geplant und in deren Vorbereitung viel Zeit und auch einiges an Geld reingesteckt. Noch konnten wir diese Früchte nicht ernten, aber wir brennen nach wie vor für unsere Projekte und gehen voller Hoffnung und Eifer in das neue Jahr 2021. Und auch Timo ist überzeugt: „Die Unbeschwertheit wird zurückkommen, aber es dauert noch. Und bis dahin gilt es, den Spirit weiter zu leben.“ Wie wir das machen? Wir erinnern uns einfach zurück, an die Wilde 3 in den Kronenwerken letztes Jahr, an die gemeinsame Bühne beim Umsonst und Draußen und die Vibes, die ihr vor Ort versprüht! Dafür können wir nur nochmal DANKE sagen!

Wir wünschen uns nichts mehr, als wieder so inspirierende Veranstaltungen mit euch zu erleben wie 2019. Zusammen mit unserem langjährigen Wegbegleiter und Unterstützer Timo Maas haben wir uns nun nochmal etwas Kleines überlegt, um euch über den Ausfall des diesjährigen Christmas-Raves hinwegzutrösten.
