It is a genuine thrill to be part of the Electronic Convergence team (formerly Timeline Music) and once again assembling a live Verdant Session which is now in its eighth year.   This set submerges down into my favourite deep, bendy and atmospheric techno landscapes whilst spanning 30years of techno from early Aphex Twin,  Resistance D & Schizophrenia through to the latest Sungate (with Taupe) and We're Going Deep (with Remote) releases that landed with me this week. A recent Verdant Session [for Electronic Convergence] zoned in on the exquisite and hugely respected label Delsin.  A long time favourite imprint of mine with a respectable chunk of its archive prominent in my own collection.  I could take a day, but here narrowed down to ~2 hours in the mix attempting to represent its diversity of electronic sounds and soulful machine funk.

All tracks are from 1991 - 2000 by producers and labels such as Luke Slater, Synewave, Damon Wild, Tresor, Underground Resistance, Aux 88, James Ruskin, Drexciya, Basic Channel, Robert Hood, Claude Young and Chris McCormack to name a few.

On Saturday 16th December we celebrated our first year slinging records in Peckham by hosting a Christmas In-Store. 

The evening was soundtracked by @antepop, Kreshik, @dying_in_beauty, @danpeplow and DJ Bounce. Big thanks to everyone that made it down for the mince pies and to Brixton Brewery for providing the beer.

It's fair to say that the recoding below indicates that as the mince pies and beers got depleted, so did our mixing styles. Regardless we had a great night and have decided to upload the mix.

Inverted Audio Record Store closes for Christmas between 22 December - 4 January. Thursday 21st December is your last chance to come down to the store, buy records and collect orders.

Looking ahead, Inverted Audio Store and Leicester-based @outofjointrecords join forces again to host a record fair at Brixton Brewery Taproom on Sunday 21st January - an effervescent attempt to coerce you out of your post-Christmas slump and January Blues (non-alcoholic beer also available). 

Avid record collectors can expect stacks of new & used vinyl records, rare cassettes plus an assortment of fine threads from Cav Empt, The Trilogy Tapes, Good Morning Tapes and Out Of Joint's own clothing line.
