As the LOST RECORDS catalogue rolls in to double figures we have called upon the services and outstanding musical talents of Timo Garcia. He’s been on our A&R radar for ages and Timo’s recent releases had some amazing reactions from the likes of M.A.N.D.Y. Sasha and Laurent Garnier.

For our latest output he’s stepped up with a solid 3 track EP. Kicking off with "See You Move." Driving deep hooks that sit nicely on a main room soulful female vocal. A sneaky dark and dirty arrangement that creates spaced out bassy licks to round off this imminent speaker anthem.

"Come Inside" is a much more jackin bassy drum style movement with a killer vocal injection that turns things into an even loopier old school house affair.

To wrap things up "Slingshot" fires out a much more cosmic Tech House feel. The unrelenting drum rhythms fused with some high tempo synth keys speeds things up a notch.

Overall with skin-tight drums, vibey bass kicks, and sun hi hats topped off with sexy vocals this straight up summer rave package will take dancefloors by storm.

Select Cuts 329: NOLAN

The sixth release from the Early Morning, run by Guy J, seamlessly upholds the reputation for quality while enriching its catalog with another standout addition. This time, the spotlight falls on Cypherpunx, a UK-based production duo comprising Douglas Horner and Tim Belcher. Since 2019, Horner and Belcher have released on some of the most esteemed labels, yet this marks their first collaboration with Early Morning.

The lead track, Cyclone, is a masterclass in dancefloor energy, offering a meticulous blend of vintage influences and cutting-edge studio techniques. Its fluid, hypnotic arrangement weaves atmospheric textures, sci-fi-inspired effects, and ethereal vocal chants, resulting in an immersive sonic character. Psychedelic nuances elevate the composition, evoking a sense of transcendence while maintaining a crisp, modern production aesthetic.

Closing the release is a remix by Khen, a prominent figure in the electronic music scene whose work continues to gain industry acclaim. His reinterpretation of "Cyclone" preserves the essence of the original while introducing a unique perspective shaped by his signature sound. By juxtaposing primal tribal percussion with an intricate and cerebral approach to sound design, Khen highlights the emotional core of the melody, presenting it in a fresh and compelling light.
