Welcoming TIKO (DE) as the 48th guest on the inTension Podcast!

Tiko, also known as Tim Kochanski, is a German Techno DJ and producer from Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Fascinated by electronic sounds since the early 1990s, his interest in Techno music grew significantly over the years.

In 2005, he received his first Technics turntables and a Pioneer DJM600, allowing him to rapidly improve his DJ skills. He soon began presenting his unique definition of Techno at early gigs, establishing himself as a DJ and producer in the Techno scene.

To date, he has played at legendary clubs such as Butan Club in Wuppertal, Studio in Essen, Fusion in Münster, and Rheingold in Düsseldorf. He has also performed at festivals like Nature One in Kastellaun and Ruhr in Love in Oberhausen.

As the co-founder of Partykumpel Ruhrgebiet, he not only hosts his own parties but is also a regular guest at the ACID WARS and TECHNO RULEZ! parties in Münster and the Ruhr area.

A few years ago, feeling that playing tracks by other artists was no longer enough, he began producing his own Techno music. He discovered his style through Ableton Live and now presents his very own definition of Techno music.

I had such a great time! Thanks to everyone who showed up and danced with me. After a short break I will be back on the road this month. You can meet me in Stuttgart at the Proton Club together with my buddy Alex Stein and in Gießen at the Move Open Air together with Juliet Fox, Maori and many other great artists.
