In mathematics, Curl denotes the amount of rotational flow at a given point in a vector field. In this piece, I wished to investigate juxtapositions of continuity and discontinuity. Manipulating the flow of material with this mind led to music that resists linear development, and often seems simultaneously to move and stand still, as if stuck in a whirlpool.
