∎ Under the alias Margos is the Parisian Copenhagen-based sound artist Isidore De Souza. He has earlier released tracks for compilations on the acclaimed Copenhagen-based experimental label Janushoved and has performed at Copenhagen hubs such as Mayhem, Den Anden Side and Basement.

∎ End of greatness is the debut album by Margos, the alias of Paris-born, Copenhagen-based sound artist Isidore De Souza. Borrowing its title from a cosmological term describing the outer limits of human observational scale, the album explores dissolution, transformation, and emotional distance - a universe folding in on itself.

∎ The album took shape during a period of profound solitude. Composed in the aftermath of the COVID-19 lockdowns, End of greatness emerged while Margos was living alone in a new country, navigating the disorientation of distance, displacement, and existential uncertainty. That quiet rupture - of routines, of proximity, of purpose - seeps into the music as both presence and absence. The work becomes a way of listening inward, of mapping emotional terrain in a time when the outer world feels suspended.

∎ Across thirteen compositions, End of greatness traverses shapeshifting electronic terrain. Tracks resample themselves into abstraction; sonic landscapes spiral outward before collapsing. Each piece begins as one thing and becomes another—like a memory retold too many times. The music is deeply textured, full of emotional residue: intimate, vast, and strangely tender.
