Dancing With Shadows

I recently purchased Symphobia 1 and have been super happy with it so far! I put together this short demo track using only Symphobia instruments to demonstrate some cool patches included in the library. I especially like the brass section, it really produces a nice big epic sound.

After listening to my track "Rain", he fell in love with it and offered to collaborate with me to create a full epic version of the track.
We gave our best effort on this track to show that Miracle from Heaven is a result of our hard work.

I can say this for sure : Every single note is written from our bottom of our hearts and touched our souls while composing this awesome piece.

This piece was inspired by survival in the cold desolation of nature. I spent a lot more time than usual on the mixing and mastering process and it was definitely a great learning experience. I hope you enjoy it!

I have composed this track for the condolence album “Farewell to the Souls”. This album was made to remembers the victims of the Sewol Ferry Disaster, which happened back in April 16th, 2014 in South Korea. Over 300 people, mostly High School students were drowned and still 5 of them are missing even after the search ended in 2019. “Farewell to the Souls” is a collection of epic emotional cinematic tracks which gives a final musical call, to give comfort to the victims’ families and bidding farewell to the victims who ascended to heaven. Jessie Yun, the director of this project decided to make this as her final project to the annual condolence content project including me and other epic music composers. Timothy Shortell is a composer based in Los Angeles. He has scored an assortment of films, video games, series, trailers, and other media. In addition to scoring, he has composed hundreds of tracks for publishing companies and labels. His music has been placed in thousands of TV spots, trailers, commercials, and TV coverage for Hulu, Paramount+, Prime Video, Riot Games, BBC, ESPN, ABC, NBC, CNN, FOX, CBS, Discovery, and various international networks. 

In 2022, he became the youngest composer to ever write custom music for a theatrical movie trailer at the age of 19. He received the Thomas Bergersen Grant for Young Talent from the co-founder of Two Steps From Hell and was twice awarded Occidental College’s Elinor Remick Warren Award for Significant Achievement in Musical Composition.
