This is a binaural recording - listen with headphones - of an 8-channel surround piece that I composed designed to incorporate the acoustics of the space. The Chapel is some 75m long, and approx 25m high and wide with three hemispherical domes. This gives rise to a long 8 sec. reverb and delays from the domes. The hard surfaces also add a level fo distortion depending on the freque=ncy of the sound. It was a really interesting project.

The second piece written as part of my PhD portfolio. This piece was created using the ambience of an air-raid shelter and sounds associated with it as well as parts of the shelter itself being hit with various types of sticks and mallets. This is a binaural mix so will work best with headphones.
