‘Feel Something’, the follow up to last year’s ‘Out Of View’ debut, features ten brand new tracks and was recorded over the last few months at Sublime Studios in London. Like it’s predecessor, the album was again produced and engineered by the band’s Jerome Watson with additional engineering by Joshua Third of The Horrors and Charles Reeves.

Formed three years ago, The History Of Apple Pie line up is centered around the songwriting partnership of Stephanie Min (Vocals) and Jerome Watson (Guitar) together with James Thomas (Drums), Aslam Ghauri (Guitar) and new recruit to the band Joanna Curwood (bass).

The band, who played last year’s CMJ Festival in New York, are set to announce UK and European Tours to coincide with the album release, in the very near future.

It is our distinct pleasure to present: Miss Sharon Jones! OST. The film, directed by two-time Academy Award winner, Barbara Kopple, follows the dynamic front-woman through her 2013 battle with cancer and her triumphant return to the stage around the release of Give The People What They Want.

The soundtrack, featuring the exclusive song "I'm Still Here", boasts a selection of Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings classics ranging from her early singles on Daptone, to tracks from the band's 2014 release - Give the People What They Want. Their languages just tend to confuse them
Their confusion somehow makes them more sure
Now they’re much too bright for the old superstitions 
But they’re yet to find a new one they won’t serve

Where did they find these clowns they elected to rule them

A chill mix made up mostly of records I played at Magpie Brewery's outdoor birthday event here on Jeju last month. I was the first of four DJs playing (alongside Aaron Choe - one half of Dowtownseoul, Antoine - Clique Records and Udo Lee - BBS). Many sweet memories shared with my son and husband to these records on this beautiful island. Very special to play them under the sun with all our friends present. Not so special watching my records warp in the heat.
