When my friend Aaron English and I got together to write a song in August of 2019 the world was a different place...

We though of a moments of rest and relaxation with those we care about the most. Nowadays, these moments are of stillness and unease. 

But through the momentous change of this day and age, I found this song giving me a sense of peace and a reason to listen less to the news and more to the heart. (Sorry for the dis NPR, I still love listening :) )

This was recorded in the same week as the passing of Mr. John Prine. A beloved figure in the music industry and in Nashville especially. I dedicate this performance to him.
