Born and raised in Romagna, a land notoriously associated to the birth of the Italian club culture, she starts collecting records at the age of 20, while being a constant festivals/clubs/concerts/dancefloors goer. She’s very keen on disco and electrofunk music, favoring “fat” sounds and captivating bass lines which make you feel like dancing. 



Thanks to her main job as a fashion stylist in Milan, she’s also contaminating that field with her good vibes through djsets for fashion events and gatherings (among her clients Emporio Armani and Dior Beauty).

For the 11th installment in our Just For The Night series, selectors take you on their own journey through groove. Anything goes.

Etched into the history of Italian House is one Carlo Troja, aka Don Carlos. In 1991 @IrmaRecords released his first single Alone, which almost immediately gained cult status. The soft, ambient, dream-like production defined a genre that came to be known as Paradise House. 

One of his more recent excursions that piqued our interest was a four-track EP on @razor-n-tape under artist name Montego Bay, all melodic house jams & sampled disco cuts. Don Carlos and S-Tone (Stefano Tirone @stoneinc) released two records on Bologna label Calypso in the early 90s and incredibly, the 4 tracks on this EP were produced 30 years ago, then shelved and forgotten about.

A true music obsessive, he has graciously delivered an hour of lush Mediterranean & Adriatic-soaked groovers from his extensive record collection. Benvenuti in paradiso. 🌴
