Sun (Soundburnt)

For this particular idea I was messing around with some reverb type of effects that I've never used before, I also messed around with different ways for the midi tracks to be heard.  I think the overall tone is haunting, not in a bad way, but a beautiful way.  Does that make sense?  I don't know where it should go and I have no idea how to change it up.

With this idea I wanted to create something with an oldschool video game kind of vibe.  I also really like the atmospherics in the background.  Again, I have no idea where this needs to go.

Really this is just a 4 measure loop that repeats for 5 minutes.  I'll make these so that I can listen to them continuously and try and "hear" possible ways for it to go.  I haven't come up with anything yet.

This is more of an ambient house sort of affair? I guess?  I really wanted to work with some nice textures on this one.  Most of the drum sounds were made from plugging my headphones into the input and then hitting record and dropping the headphones on the ground, kinda neat.

When it comes to making music I have a hard time getting past the initial part of an idea.  Essentially I'll come up with a small loop of my liking and just listen to it for minutes on end.  I was hoping that by uploading some of these ideas to Soundcloud that I could get some ideas and feedback.

I love repetition and I'm sure that you will notice this.
