Great way to start things off! Nobody fires up the engine on a Sunday so I knew that I was in for an interesting ride.

One of my favourites songs of all time from the SAW challenge so far, I truly loved this melody. Don't know if it makes sense but it has a "Toy Story" vibe to it, it's nostalgic, friendly vibe to it, don't know how to explain, but really really enjoyed it. Well done mate, what a great song.

This is great, thoughtful but bouncy at the same time with solid lyrics.

In the style of a rebound roll-in-the-hay, this is my first recording after my post-house-move slump. We're all a bit shame-faced about it, but it needed doing.

Based on a couple of quotes from Rumi (which may or may not have required some pumped-up beats), here are the lyrics:

Week 32 Prompt: No Uncertain Terms

*Note about the song: Yes, I was born a Murray. No, I'm not related to any famous Murrays (that I'm aware of). Growing up, I was asked about pretty much any Murray with fame or infamy and what our familial relation was. Two of the most common questions: "Are you related to the singer, Ann Murray?" And, of course, "Ohmygosh, is Bill Murray your dad?!" Nope, but Brian is, and an elusive man is he. 

you ask about my father
but why do you even bother
probably won't meet him anyway
you want to know my surname
from when i was a young dame
been Murray since back in the day

now before you get excited
as i see you so delighted
let me tell you in no uncertain terms:
Bill Murray ain't my father, but Brian is

Brian keeps it quiet
while talking all day long
he'll always be happiest
with the baseball game on
he's rough around the edges
and he'll ask you lots of questions
just remember, Bill ain't my dad,
