"Abundance" is an excerpt from the new hip hop musical, BEGGAR TO THE AIR, by Malik Work, Timothy Trimingham Lee & Rob Hart. Terrell throws a coming home party for Venn T, who he has freed from prison with his wealth and influence. In a private concert, Terrell and Venn T perform "Abundance," Terrell's latest single for his label, Athen Records. When Terrell offers the floor to his  protégé, Venn T first thanks his mentor, but then criticises him for taking money from sources that are poisoning the community.

After drowning in debt, discovering his friends weren't there for him, and losing everything, Terrell exiles himself from New York City to the wilderness upstate. His manager and former lover, In-Sook, finds him alone and transformed deep in the woods. She implores him to return to the city with her to start again, but Terrell has become Timon, a misanthrope seeking salvation in nature.
