Seit Urzeiten schon erklingt Musik in ẒIJN’s Herkunftsfamilie als die essentielle Kunst aller Künste, die schon früh allgegenwärtig waren. Das Talent des Klangkünstlers wurde ihm buchstäblich mit in die Wiege gelegt. Einige Instrumente formten den Werdegang und das grundlegende emotionale Empfinden. Als er aufwuchs, kamen die ersten Versuche mit alten CD-Playern Goa und Trance zu mischen. Die Zeit verging und die Prioritäten verlagerten sich auf visuelle Kunst wie Malerei und Design.

Doch irgendwann entdeckte „Techno“ ẓıȷŋs ständigen perma-kreativen Gestaltungsdrang und es begann eine zeitlose Reise durch elektronische Klangwelten, mal melodiös, mal #deepdown, mal hypnotisch, mal bunt gemischt und immer wieder mit schamanischen Einflüssen. Seitdem gräbt @medi-zijn ständig nach neuem Sound und kombiniert verschiedene und seltsame Stile miteinander, so wie es ein Alchemist tun würde.

ẓıȷŋ kommt vom niederländischen Wort „zijn“, was so viel bedeutet wie „sein“ und dafür steht seine Musik. Das jetzt.

Mi/Nu @ The Stone House - Tara Brooks Event / Nevada City - 04/23

Hey, this is my newest EP "To the moon". This project is an attempt to reproduce the sensation of watching the moon at night. All the dreams and wonders that this big hypnotising satellite can create in our heads is something that I've always wanted to interpret with music. 
The main influence for this project was none other than Pink Floyd's "the dark side of the moon". Listening to this masterpiece at night, from A to Z, looking beyond the stars, straight at the infinity, is something everyone should experience - and this is what gave the first impulse for this project. 
The saxophone and piano parts have been recorded (in an one-night session, to keep the idea of spontaneity and ephemerality alive) with two very close friends, Etienne Bagard and Camille Ogee. 
The visual has been created by Nanou, a french upcoming artist that I've worked with several times and that always understood what was the right vision for each project.

Arno Brak aka Kaöb is a free-spirited person who grew up surrounded by the intensity and color of an artistic family. Passionate about world cultures, he has lived in Dublin, Mexico City, Sao Paulo and has visited some thirty countries around the world.
Under the name of Arno Brak, he released 19 tracks on 6 labels in 4 years (FlymusiK Records, Bedroom House Records, Locked Records, Arch 44, Hitfinders Music Brazil, Simplus Label), then decided to change last year in Kaöb which corresponds better to his universe. In early October, he released his first EP of 3 tracks on the famous Brazilian label Casa Caos.

His style of music reflects a real craze for spirituality, esotericism, mysticism, ancient civilizations and ethnic cultures, coupled with electronic music (Deep Tribal Ethno Tech Downtempo). Improved with a philosophy of life of the here and now, positivity, law of attraction, awakening of conscience, meditation, nature, unity, multiculturalism and questioning about this wonderful universe, which he seeks to transmit as much through his compositions as his mix.
It attempts to convey the means of access to an interdimensional portal that would allow the understanding of the mysteries of the universe or at least the elevation of our consciousness at the higher stage.

Many EP projects, partnerships, podcast and live mix are coming in the coming months in France, Europe and rest of the world.
