In August 2015, 25 Berlin acts went as a collective to Hawai'i to showcase their electronic music and to experience coming together creatively, surrounded by most inspirational natural beauty.

The past 18 months (since the last time I posted my Fusion recording) have been truly memorable for me, with many unforgettable experiences all over the world, new places, new friends and above all some amazing support along the way. I am grateful to have this opportunity to travel around the world to stages where I can expose my music. 

One of the key moments came back on April 1st when I closed DGTL Amsterdam’s Frequency Stage. I was exhilarated throughout, and I felt that I achieved a very strong connection with the people that were there that day. So much, so that I decided to go back to my studio to record the set again, so that I could share it with everyone once more here. Thank you to everyone that let this set come alive. Better late than never. We would love to thank everyone from kulturkosmos, Casino & Captbook for making it happen. It was a big pleasure to play sunday morning at our favorite festival with such a lovely crowd in front. We played mostly with ideas and loops we create on the fly and had such fun time seeing what is going to be happen.

Wednesday morning somewhere in nowhere & day 3 on the playa of that magical place called Burning Man where your imagination is not limited, where money doesn't exist and everything could be possible where we had the great opportunity to play a sunrise set at Opulent Chill and couldn't be more proud of the recording and our inner playa soundtrack.

I always found it challenging to record a studio podcast: my analytical mind is trying to calculate every move, evaluate each transition & criticize the selection. I have time, music & equipment at my disposal, but one key element is missing to really tell a story: humans.
____

I encountered that problem last weekend. Although I was playing music I enjoy, I felt that my technically structured mix was too stiff and impersonal. 

____

Then, some of my favourite humans turned up at the studio. As Ashley, Apolline, Axel & Robin entered the room, the studio was suddenly filled with a great energy & I felt like pressing the rec button again, just for fun - this is when the first minutes of  S y m b i o s e  were captured. 
____

I feel this studio mix is an authentic representation of the energy levels I like to navigate through during a longer set. It features some of my favourite tracks in a nod to the past but also has a touch of the future; new sounds that are moving me forward & some of my new compositions.

I’m happy to share this mix as I’m taking off for Argentina, what marks my first adventure of the decade. This music session brought me clarity, presence & joy! I hope you'll resonate with it.

Wing clipper

I just returned from the magical Bonjuk Bay. This place is something else. The nature, the people, the love. So much beauty. It felt like returning to the essence of life. 

There were many magical moments but this sunset set is something I will never forget. Standing in-between the palm trees, looking at all these beautiful people dancing, celebrating the last moments of sunshine before we fade into the night.

My heart is filled with gratitude.

He has travelled the world and accumulated a wealth of experiences and memories, which he shares through his music, taking you on adventure across time and emotions.

An artist born on the playa of Burning Man desert, Timujin is the founder of White Ocean Community. Though the sand of the playa rings through many if his tunes, it’s the new melodic variations that don’t stop to surprise.
