I'm thrilled to share with you some remixes (bootlegs) of tracks that mean a lot to me. Each of these artists has left a huge impact on my life and creativity.
When I was 8, I heard @moby "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?" for the first time, and it left a strong impression. I recorded it on tape and listened to it all the time. In 2021, I decided to make a remix of that track, and you finally got to hear it in late 2023. Despite numerous attempts to sign it with a label, neither I nor the labels could establish contact with Richard or his team for an official release. It's cool, though—I know I'm just a small project working toward my goal… a small bolt😁😎

Close the shutters, and unplug your phone, because ICONYC returns with an unadulterated fix of the finest electronic music as we present Tim Walche's Sacrifice. Containing two original cuts, including a collaboration with Safe Travel, Sacrifice promises to be one of the most resounding works from the Kyiv-based producer and mix engineer, who already holds a distinct place in the catalogs of renowned brands, including ATLANT and This Never Happened.

Opening with an airy, textured percussive sequence, Tim Walche invites us inside his "Sacrifice" as tantalizing arrangements and darker hits cut through double-edged hi-hats. Now deep in its allure and gliding over a throbbing groove, Safe Travel's sultry vocal line takes centerstage for a smoldering, yet intimate delivery, leading to a spellbinding breakdown. A gorgeous moment, "Sacrifice" is a heavenly display of storytelling combined with Walche's unrivaled sensitivity as their pair come together to gaze at the pearly gates somewhere between cascading synths and complex drum programming.

Complementing the titular piece, Walche presents us with his solo outing, "Hidden Palace". Intricate and complex from the onset, this second piece is a marvelous machine where cogs grind and turn in unpredictable patterns as mangled vocals and Eastern motifs flourish in this restless environment, lending a balanced sense of exotic finesse to "Hidden Palace". Defying logic and plastic gimmicks, Walche's creation contorts in unique ways with every passing beat as it pushes the envelope farther beyond than we ever have before.

Memorable through and through, Sacrifice provides a colorful insight into the inner workings of a bold producer on the rise. Uncompromising, Tim Walche's vision and design go past the traditional confines of the dancefloor in search of lasting thrills, and his Sacrifice surely won't go unnoticed.

Tim Walche, the Kyiv-based producer and mix engineer, began his music journey in 2008 when he got his first computer. With over a decade of experience, Tim has worked on mixing and mastering for notable industry names and developed his own music that blends expansive Techno and House.

In November 2022, Tim made his debut on Lane8’s label, This Never Happened, marking a significant milestone in his career.

In 2023, Tim started the year with an EP on Eklektisch, followed by a release on ATLANT in December. He has also contributed as a co-producer on SPECTRUM. In 2024, he released on ICONYC and plans another release on BIOME, the label of artist Avoure. With upcoming releases on other respected labels, Tim is poised to make a strong impact on the electronic music scene with his evolving, boundary-pushing sound.
