Vs IN THE WINDOW
It’s not so fictional, holding on this thread.
Strengths in the bare cords laid open and in front.
The parts we perform in this ongoing play.
This theatre in knuckle rides looking to the sides in all.

Advance to the board,
Tears of edges, people at source.
Rationing of supply, sustaining the whys.
Question the facts as the rubble is piling.

Syncopated games in conflict aboard this mid-day journey.
Suns are high through the east and west horizons.
In the back talking over each other in co-ordinated chaos.
Conversational variants by land, sea and sky.
The secret payments in order to disrupt the given process.

Orders now projected from valleys afield, proverbial in bright eyes.
The v in the window could be a tick.
Real eyes are now needed in fluctuating appearances.
Headlong into abominable implications through manipulated discourse.
Payed for by the twisted minds, a few gaining on this climate of fear.

Routes in and routing out secrets of those vanished.
Power in the hand, performers in the fields.
Acting on lands, transversing the deep flow.
Whipping up the dust in a quake of murmuring shouts.
Oh, we have not finished it yet!

Tim Watt is an English singer-songwriter and musician from Hertfordshire, England.
Captivating audiences with haunting melodies, raw emotion, and soulful vocals, he has performed a vast array of live shows since the early 2000s — from the Neon Reverb Festival in Las Vegas to iconic folk venues including The Troubadour in London, Le Bus Palladium in Paris, and The Bitter End in New York City.
His songs are sculpted with poetic lyricism, drawing inspiration from Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, and Neil Young, alongside contemporary artists such as Ryan Adams and Jack White. This revered lineage of influences contributes to a distinctive and rich tapestry of compositions.
In addition to his solo output, Watt co-founded and fronted underground British alternative rock groups Black Ballroom and The Vulgar Poets. He has also collaborated as a guest vocalist with renowned guitarist and composer Gary Lucas, performing in live tributes to Jeff Buckley and Captain Beefheart.
He has independently recorded and released a substantial body of original work throughout his career, methodically building a catalogue defined by artistic integrity and versatility.
His music has been featured across international radio, including BBC Introducing, and reviewed in acclaimed music publications such as Obscure Sound, which hailed his EP Scenes from the Jazz Age as "a stylish, compellingly emotive success".
He currently resides in Paris, France.
