Dirty Epic welcomes aboard Magdalena for its twelfth episode of Amplify Series.

With 18 years being part of the Latin American electronic scene, Magdalena has managed to build a career as an artist with firm foundations. DJ, producer, vocalist and label manager; This versatile artist breathes music into every pore of her skin. She was a resident of the La Sala, Cinema, Cha Cha and Lov club in Bogotá.
She has releases on Techsound, Business Class Records, We Love Bta, Inversion Records, Pz Records, Broken Mind Recordings, Panal Records, Alss, Al3movement, Illegal Alien, some remixes on Techsound, B55, Black Leather among others. In 2015, his first vinyl was released on the Broken Mind Recordings label. Desobiencia Civil includes a raw intro that reflects the social reality of the country, an original song, a remix by Myles Sergé and a dense and dark outro, the main theme of this album was played by Ben Sims in one of his podcasts in 2015. His production on PZ Records was remixed by Valentino Emme and Ilario Alicante, the remix of Ilario Alicante has been played by Slam, Rohad, among others.
The song You Should Come To Berlin He Said (WeLoveBta Rec) was played by Rebekah in the Essential Mix of 2017. In 2018 she released on BMR with the album “Straight Lines”, a new solo project under the name of Ana Gartner. Under this aka he has remixed Margarita Siempre Viva, No Hay Juventud, Estados Alterados, Sereno, among others. She released a first single in the company of Alex Bau for the Credo label, which led to an ep for International Deejay Gigolo. It was presented at the 2019 Altavoz festival, Semana de la Juventud, El Suiche, La Fresquera (musical space of the Moravia Cultural Center), at the Cometas y Techno Festival of Villa de Leyva, Antípoda and Club 303 in Bogotá. She has releases on Morfina Records, Discos Hechizos and a vinyl on BMR that features remixes by Faunes and Nausea.
She has played several times in Ecuador, was part of the Get Lost festival in Germany in 2017, at Arena club Berlin and on Melting Pot Radio. She has played in Guatemala, Peru with the Palestra collective. In Mexico, Chile, and in 2019 in New York in an OffBoiler made by the Unter collective and on The Lot Radio, and then again in 2021 with Taken.
Also played in Borderless Berlin, a live stream from Medellín to Ava Club in Berlin in 2021. 
She is currently in the process of producing her second album as Ana Gartner and the next physical release from BMR. She is the curator of KUBO STREAM Thursdays in which she also has a Desobediencia Civil show.

Cristian Varela cumple 30 años de carrera. La historia de la música electrónica en España le reserva un espacio privilegiado, señalándole como una pieza indispensable para la construcción de la industria nacional de la música de baile y como uno de nuestro artistas pioneros internacionalmente. El artista madrileño escribe en primera persona algunas de las páginas más trascendentales de esta evolución, alzándose como un auténtico pionero en las más diversas materias, que a día de hoy conforman la hoja de ruta de esta profesión. Suyos fueron los primeros Lives, las sesiones a 4 platos, los grandes eventos y festivales o la creación de un sello de Techno con amplio calado internacional. Su visión avanzada le situó como uno de los principales precursores de la profesionalización de nuestra escena. Pornographic Recordings, Phrenetic Society, Electrosonic Festival o Manita son solo algunos ejemplos de sus novedosas propuestas y creaciones.

Lejos de acomodarse en este estatus, Cristian ha permanecido siempre fiel a su vocación de emprendedor multidisciplinar, y hasta la fecha continúa sorprendiéndonos año tras año con nuevas y excitantes concepciones. En 2015 estrena VARELIVE, una vuelta de tuerca a los directos de música electrónica, en tiempo real, con libertad de creación y utilizando la tecnología Emulator. Siempre interesado por su entorno, se ha implicado en diferentes acciones solidarias y campañas de concienciación. Destacan entre las más recientes la campaña de la Fundación de Ayuda contra la Drogadicción (FAD), la realizada por la Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT) que le valió el Premio Onda Cero 2015 de Seguridad Vial, fiestas en favor de la Cruz Roja, o su actual proyecto “Varela Concept”, una colección de 12 track que buscan concienciar al público de los problemas del planeta y el medio ambiente, con el fin de recaudar fondos para esta buena causa y aprovechando la ocasión para dar rienda suelta a su faceta de compositor sinfónico. Es esta vertiente de su talento una de las que más satisfacciones le brinda, siendo compositor de bandas sonoras para cine, teatro, publicidad y espectáculos desde 1986. Cuenta en su haber con un álbum sinfónico grabado en los legendarios estudios Abbey Road en el que cuenta con la participación de los mejores músicos de cámara. Sus últimas actuaciones públicas en esta faceta han sido durante los desfiles del afamado diseñador de la Casa Real Española Felipe Varela, para el que además de componer la música de sus desfiles, Cristian la interpreta en directo.

Durante todos estos años, Cristian Varela ha sido capaz de encontrar el balance perfecto entre sus proyectos de estudio y su vida de DJ internacional. Sus shows continúan recorriendo el globo pasando por las principales salas y festivales de cada país y continente. Su carisma le ha permitido ganarse el apoyo incondicional de Carl Cox, un gigante del Techno que cuenta con él año tras año en sus principales eventos. Ha actuado en los festivales con mayor repercusión del mundo, tales como Ultra Music Festival Miami, Awakenings, Tomorrowland, Exit, I Love Techno o Creamfields, entre tantos, y medios de comunicación de todo el planeta vuelcan su atención en su música, sus sets y sus proyectos. Es por esto que su Radio Show se emite en 100 emisoras de 30 países diferentes.

Hailing from the thriving Parisian techno scene, Wlderz (formally known as The Welderz) have been lightning up dancefloors since the late 90s. After many EP releases on the Skryptöm label, the duo released their first full length album entitled "Swimming in A Plastic Ocean" in 2019. Since then, the prolific producers are still releasing new EPs consistently, with their latest coming out in November 2021 entitled "Bat Sanctuary."

For the Wlderz 6AM Guest Mix, the duo take us on a deep, hypnotic techno journey. Fans of Wlderz have come to appreciate their style throughout their residency with the French collective Newtrack. Strap in for a masterclass of mixing from Wlderz.
