Our first original is a true story about an 80 year old woman who is leaving her childhood home after her husband passed away.
She grew up there then raised her own family there and couldn't have been happier.
The song takes place during the time when she was moving out of the house in the high deserts of New Mexico and discovered a letter that her husband has written to her while he was still alive, but she had never new about.


80 Years

This song is about the long and SUPER dangerous drive on the Ouray Pass between Telluride and Durango Colorado. Plus walking down the sidewalk in Telluride and meeting Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Brown, plus some other stuff.
