August 2014:

I have now turned the first page in a new chapter in life - my new life in Oslo.

I have not yet started my composition studies at the music academy of Norway, but I've spend some days exploring the city, been going to live concerts, poetry slam, noise improvisation and meeting a lot of interesting people. I felt like expressing all these impressions with my music, so here's "Oslo part 1".

It's only made with sounds from my cello and some effects in ableton live, and even though it might be my typical melancholic sound universe I'm really in a very happy state of mind :)

2016:

Live from the finale concert of the composition competition ,,Vox Juventutis 2016". Performer : Vilnius choir ,,Jauna Muzika". Conductor - Vaclovas Augustinas.

«Livet» is Danish for «the life», mostly in the context of «the daily life». The piece explores different moods with vocal texture, layers and resonance - there is a constant underlying structure of eternally ongoing time through most of the piece. «Livet» deals with parts of daily life that we are all likely to experience, but are not easily shared; anxiety, loneliness, sorrow and/or grief. Individual stories/experiences with these aspects, and how to deal with them, are being whispered by the choir, but instead of the stories standing alone, they together form a full texture of whispering sound - a sound of togetherness, not solitude.

Livet (2016)

2016:

Steel concrete and light.
An abstract and instrumental interpretation of the city.
The city as a human made object - the piece with human made sounds. 
The city as a feeling more than a specific place.
A sound universe based on processed instrumental sound with visual elements of man-made objects in the city.

Live performance of "Is there" for live electronics, stones and metal bowls - with and by Tine Surel Lange.

Sound for the dance performance “Is There” with and by Nguyen Chung & Boram Jun.

 Collaborative work made during the 6 week Deep in the Mountains artist residency in PyeongChang, South Korea. WP at the National Theater of Korea (국립극장). 

Also performed at the M1 Contact Fontemporary Dance Festival in Singapore.

Sound sources: Contact microphones on metal bowls, stones and metal objects and thunder storm - all processed live in ableton live.

Sound source: Field recordings of roseroot and reeds during a 1-month residency in Berlevåg in Northern Norway summer 2017. 

I loved the contrast between the rugged and sharp black-ish rocks and the green plants growing in between, which inspired me to create this work.
