This is a track that Geoff Pinckney and myself put together in late 2004 when we first started working together again as Alien Six Productions. It was a  company that we formed with the idea of getting involved in TV work, production, remixes and songwriting etc. In 2005 we decided we needed female vocalists to work with and after many auditions and meetings with numerous people we met Laura Cyganik who was then a student at BIMM in Brighton. She was by far and away the very best that we'd seen and was only 19 at the time! But she had a maturity with both vocals and writing that were simply way beyond her years. Originally I had sing this song but it suited Laura's voice so much better so I was only to happy to replace the vocals. This song was initially based around a sample of a well known 80's track but later on we replaced that by painstakingly recreating the sample using our own programming and instruments. The track went on to be used by Konami in one of the very popular 'Dance Dance Revolution' games so was played all over over the world on arcades and in homes on gaming systems. It's very different to what we now do in Tenek but I think it does show that we can be versatile if need be! Enjoy - Pete x

This is an exclusive mix of 'Anthracite Days' from the recent 'Reanimation' EP which is included on the recent 'Concrete and Chrome' compilation that was released on March 4th 2022 on the State of Bass label. Additional guitars on this track were played by Steve Harris from the Gary Numan band. Mastered by Sean Albiez at Song of the Atom.

This  track is a cover version of Peter Godwin's 1982 cult synth classic 'Images of Heaven' that we recorded in late 2007 with the intention of releasing and playing live. It's a demo version and was never fully completed unfortunately. There is a sonic surprise at the end which is typical 'Tenek humour' according to Geoff. We used to like to do things like that for a bit of fun!
