Finally here is my contribution to Philthy City's online event from way earlier this year. It was tons of fun to record this set and put the visuals into it afterwards. Band 3 unserer Skankin´Beatz-Podcast-Reihe.

Dieses Mal haben wir uns wieder in heimischen Gefilden umgetan und ein ganz besonders interessantes Exemplar gefunden.

Tinkturox sein Markenname und mittlerweile in Dresden kein unbeschriebenes Blatt mehr. Mitglied der beiden Crews Danger Movement & Küchenrave. Seine Stilrichtung ist Drum & Bass in den Facetten: Liquid, Deep und Neurofunk. Ganz klarer Fokus liegt dabei beim VINYL, gemäß dem Motto: keep it analog!

2012 fing er an, Beats zu produzieren. Dabei sind besonders experimentelle Dinge in verschiedensten Genres entstanden. Im März 2015 entdeckte er dann die Schallplatte für sich und fing an, D&B-Platten zu sammeln und natürlich auch aufzulegen.

Was jedoch noch viel spannender scheint: Tinkturox drückt seine rhythmischen Intensionen nicht nur über Platenteller aus, nein, er tanzt sie auch als B-Boy bei der „Eure Freshness Crew“.

I made this track several months ago for the Firepower Records Remix Competition. I obviously didn’t won, but that was never my intention while smashing it into its pieces. It’s my first remix I’ve ever done so far and I learned so crazy stuff while doing this.

It was really fun creating this little stinker and playing this in several clubs. Even others played my remix several times at other locations and I’m so thankful for this! So:
