Martinou lands on Turbo for the very first time, as the Swedish producer connects with Tiga’s Montreal-based label following years of mutual admiration. His melancholic sound, dripping in masterfully balanced tones, continues to impact both heady at-home listeners & seasoned club dancers. A pair of albums on Rotterdam’s Nous’Klaer Audio have both been on constant rotation throughout the Turbo community, thus adding to the widespread excitement for Martinou’s debut on the imprint.

The Sheltered Planet is a four-track record at the cross-section of Martinou’s bespoke sound & Turbo’s historic Techno influence. The aptly titled opener - Getting Into It - elevates senses through an exploitative and rising soundscape, flowing right into the beat-driven house cut - I Told You We’d Make It; crisp drum programming opens way to soaring melodics, with a deeply analog feel to the A2 groover.

On the flip, Martinou effortlessly glides through another movement-laden melody, as Exhilaration turns the dial ever-so-slightly towards the Swede’s take on a peak-time selection - The Offering. Rounded yet punchy synth lines ebb & flow from the distance, oozing into the groove by the time the break lifts us to the EP’s crescendo; a masterful dance track for the finest of dance parties.

To celebrate their 10th release, Rhythm Büro, the Kyiv-based lablel, collective and party initiative, has prepared a rather special compilation entitled 'There Will Be Light.' The compilation focuses on deep listening, chill-out and ambient music, which encompasses the team's diverse approach to music, which can be experienced at their events and on their label. The idea behind 'There Will Be Light' was born several years ago as a concept for providing relaxing sounds, to invoke a sense of peace and calm, in headphones on the street, in the subway, at home or in the car. This notion is all the more pressing as Ukraine is being ravaged by war; the objective of this release feels all the more relevant and important. Rhythm Büro believes that everyone, everywhere, deserves to have the instruments to help them achieve a peaceful state of mind and they hope that through listening to this release, it can help them do so.

The artists featured on 'There Will Be Light' are a cast of Rhythm Büro's long-time collaborators as well as a few new names, both Ukrainian by origin and international. Igor Glushko, the label's head, has managed to transform the initial idea for the compilation into a real collaboration of like-minded artists contributing to the cause, the project has taken around three years to complete. Each track is released for the first time and has been produced by such artists as: AES Dana, Priori, John Beltran, Saphileaum, Artefakt, Anthony Rother, Vida Vojic, Johanna Knutsson, Volodymyr Gnatenko, Asyncronous, Arthur Mine, Sebastian Mullaert, bvdub, Zavoloka, Nikolaienko, and Rhythm Büro co-founders Vera Logdanidi & Na Nich.

The 2xLP compilation will be released together with Rhythm Büro's 9th release, the debut solo EP from Vera Logdanidi entitled 'Banksia'.

Of Finnish descent, but born and raised in California, TIN MAN now has a home in Vienna, a town perfectly suited to his deep and moody productions. TIN MAN launched his Global A label project in 2005. The first two releases, 'Places' and 'Acid Acid', weighed in at three pieces of vinyl each, and showcased his two major musical passions: fragile deep electronica and acid house. TIN MAN has acclaimed releases on the Finnish record label Sähkö / Keys of Life, Cheap Records from Vienna, and continues with new releases on his own imprint, Global A . While TIN MAN's output is diverse in its references, certain underpinnings can be heard throughout. There is always a strong reference to Acid House music, as well as a strong reference to Ambient and Electronic Pop music from the past 30 years. TIN MAN's newer output features his voice and follows a "concept album" format. Thus, complete records are as important as individual songs. The songs tend to follow a simple structure with changes that grow slowly within motifs. Mood construction and story telling are both equally important. And with each new record, there are new historical references to tell different stories. TIN MAN also continues with his passion for Acid House by continuing to produce retro-acid tracks and playing live shows regularly.
