Project Colossal - Teaser

Whatever the weather we regularly walk the coastal promenade between Folkestone and Hythe. Winter summer and all times in-between. It never disappoints, every time we go along the coast, the beach, the sea and sky are always offering a different experience. It’s always a time to reflect, contemplate or generally catch up with life.

When We Are Beside The Sea

Marking my third collaboration with gifted pianist Debra Buesking, what an honor and treat to have her add her piano magic to a tune I wrote some 25 years ago on a warm summer evening in Colorado.  The Godin guitar seemed the perfect voice to express the warmth and intimacy of a summer evening reverie, and Debra's piano the perfect accompaniment, like two friends enjoying a glass of wine. Soundtrack for a never seen movie

Tinúviel Greenleaf is a classically-trained musician, composer, and recording-artist based in Boston, Massachusetts. She began her music education at age six in piano and classical voice. She is primarily self-taught in violoncello since the age of ten, and through the years has added a broad range of instruments, including viola da gamba, nyckelharpa, and hammered dulcimer to her repertoire.

She started composing and recording original music at the age of eleven, and uses synesthesia as a compositional tool.  She is profoundly influenced by world music and ethnomusicology, and has performed live on WMBR, The Middle East Nightclub in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York, among other venues.

Her music was used extensively in the score of the 2016 film “The Perfect Consumer,” directed by James Griffiths.
