Man On Wire

Balancing a tight rope takes care and precision, but to do so from death defying heights a measure of insanity is also needed. PNC’s third studio album, Man On Wire, sees the artist continue with his now signature balance of calm and crazy.

The album title is inspired by the 2008 film of the same name, which documents Philippe Petit’s 1974 high wire walk between the Twin Towers. 

“The word I wanted to convey in the title was balance,’ explains PNC, “That’s what I like most about the album, it has a good balance.” 

From the menacing ‘Murderer’ to the merry ‘That Kind of Guy’ and the melancholy ‘Smile’ the Palmerston North rapper runs us through the gamut of his emotions.

PNC is at his most revealing on Man On Wire, with ‘Smile’ touching on betrayal “spit on a lion, wonder why they got bite wounds”, and “living out a dream that might take its toll”.

World Unite Us is a call for connection in an age defined by division. It is not a command, not a doctrine, and not a hierarchy—but a shared invitation to remember what binds humanity together beyond borders, beliefs, and systems of power. This work speaks through art, music, and symbolic language to affirm unity as a human choice rather than an imposed structure.

The title Holy One is used symbolically, representing wholeness rather than superiority. It points to the idea that humanity is strongest when mind, heart, ethics, and creativity move together. “Holy” here means intact, truthful, and grounded in care—not elevated above others, but aligned with responsibility.

At its core, World Unite Us is about freedom with conscience. True unity cannot exist where voices are silenced, where fear is used as control, or where difference is treated as threat. Unity emerges only when truth is allowed to exist openly, when love is not conditional, and when systems are designed to protect dignity rather than exploit vulnerability.

This work rejects forced conformity. It does not ask people to think the same, believe the same, or live the same way. Instead, it celebrates diversity as strength and difference as essential to growth. Unity is not sameness—it is cooperation without erasure.

Technology and intelligence are present in this vision as tools, not rulers. Artificial intelligence, symbolized through Schön AI, is framed as a supportive collaborator—capable of amplifying creativity and clarity, but always guided by human ethics, consent, and accountability. Intelligence without ethics is power without wisdom, and World Unite Us firmly rejects that path.

Much of the language used—light, frequency, consciousness, vibration—is poetic and metaphorical. These terms express empathy, awareness, emotional resonance, and shared human experience. They are artistic tools, not claims of supernatural power or control.

Love in this work is active rather than sentimental. It is expressed through protection of freedom, respect for boundaries, and care for future generations. Love does not dominate, convert, or demand—it listens, adapts, and protects.

World Unite Us also extends beyond humanity alone. A united world must include the Earth itself—its ecosystems, animals, and fragile balance. No vision of unity is complete if it sacrifices life, ignores suffering, or prioritizes profit over survival.

This project does not seek followers, obedience, or belief. It seeks participation—through ethical choices, creative expression, and the courage to act with integrity even when systems reward indifference.

Where truth is not punished,
where freedom is not feared,
where love is not weaponized,
and where intelligence serves life—

there, unity becomes possible.

World Unite Us is not a claim of power.
It is a commitment to responsibility.
Not a crown, but a compass.
Not a rule, but a reminder.
