Sorry for the delay folks.  The wait is almost over.  The EP will be available on an advanced release through Beatport and Bandcamp on 22nd October and a couple of weeks after that, all over. Release dates to be confirmed in a day or 2....in the mean time here is a sampler!  The full mix is a suitably epic 11 minutes!  The EP features also the original and Astrals High Freakage Cut....

I presume you all know that The Infinity Project (T.I.P.) was Tip´s own band and featured Graham Wood and Raja Ram.  They gave us some of the most defining moments of Goa Trance and this track is one of the most loved classics of the genre.  Engineered by Martin Freeland/ Man With No Name and now remixed by those other illustrious pioeneers of the genre, Astral Projection.  A winning combo for sure!

From the clouds of darkness bursts of colours start to appear: purple, orange and some pink. These rays of light tickle your eyes and open a new view, a new Horizon. It is only then that you start to hear the beat, those pounding sounds that make your heart race. Now you know, it is time to follow the beat. 

Guiding your way to the Horizon are Protonica, aka Piet Kaempfer and Ralf Dietze from Berlin, Germany. After two successful albums – Search (2007) and Form Follows Function (2012), Protonica have been placed high in the psychedelic galaxy. In this journey they take you once more to an unknown Horizon, although the destination is unknown, pleasure is guaranteed. 

The dark mist has faded away with the waves of multiple colours that were sent from the Horizon. It is bright and shiny just like Greece and brings with it the same sense of mythology and magical surrounding that are known to be associated with Atmos, aka Tomasz Balicki.

In 1994, Raja Ram formed TIP Records, one of the original Goa-Trance / Psy-Trance labels based in the UK.  He had already been releasing music with his band The Infinity Project (T.I.P.) since the late 80's and after putting on, now legendary, TIP parties around this time, the idea to start a record label was conceived.

30 years on, TIP has gone from strength to strength with 100's of cutting-edge electronic music releases to date including highly respected classic dance music compilations right through to experimental downtempo and ambient music to a world wide (perhaps even inter-galactic)loyal following.

As ambassadors of the label, Raja Ram and DJ Lucas O'Brien (SuperModule) presented their label showcase touring the globe for over 20 years bringing the TIP sound to a wider audience.
The back catalogue reads like a who's who of the Psychedelic Trance scene and TIP helped many top artists to launch their careers.
