Franke Madsen (Koxbox/Saikopod) and Jakob Rishi (Rishi), collectively known as IRIDIAN, received rave reviews for their EP 'Unexpected Visitors' released on TIP at the end of last year.
Whilst most people struggled through lockdown, these two prolific gentlemen have been churning out a wonderful array of intricately crafted tunes that has all of us at TIP HQ super excited.
AAKAASHA is an album of delightful freshly cut gems with immense character, powerful funky baselines and extremely psychedelic melodies and soundscapes.

After a string of highly acclaimed EP releases and collaborations on Nano Records with the likes of Tristan, Pogo, Braincell and many more, Mandala has spent the last two years solidly locked in the studio creating this masterpiece of a debut album. These Noodniks boys rarely come out, except in the truffle season.  They're semi-hermits, unwashed, unshaved, long haired and strange...in a feral sort of way....
However, they know the difference between a Burgundy and a Bordeaux, between a Rembrandt and a Rubens.
The noises that they produce in their lair are certainly strange.. deep underground synthesis...modular..4D....holographic, spirals of holograms.... twisting...... a maelstrom of ideas and landscapes...

Jamie has the best hair and Si the best hats.Raj has a patent on his moustache twister and we are all set to disappear into the unsightly world of Pagan trance.

The Noodniks - Happy Mistake

In 1994, Raja Ram formed TIP Records, one of the original Goa-Trance / Psy-Trance labels based in the UK.  He had already been releasing music with his band The Infinity Project (T.I.P.) since the late 80's and after putting on, now legendary, TIP parties around this time, the idea to start a record label was conceived.

30 years on, TIP has gone from strength to strength with 100's of cutting-edge electronic music releases to date including highly respected classic dance music compilations right through to experimental downtempo and ambient music to a world wide (perhaps even inter-galactic)loyal following.

As ambassadors of the label, Raja Ram and DJ Lucas O'Brien (SuperModule) presented their label showcase touring the globe for over 20 years bringing the TIP sound to a wider audience.
The back catalogue reads like a who's who of the Psychedelic Trance scene and TIP helped many top artists to launch their careers.

Today, with a roster of sought after, quality and dynamic artists, TIP continues to bring music and joy to dance floors around the world!
