We are delighted to welcome back our old friends Total Eclipse to TIP Records.  This project has a special place in our heart - their first release, the classic Waiting For A New Life, was the second ever TIP release way back in 1994.
Founding member Stephane Holweck has been the sole active member of the project since 2005.  This year however, Marios Makar Trivyzas (Plasmatix/Makar) has become an official member of the band and together with Stephane is bringing the updated alien futuristic sound of the band on stage. After a first more nighttime oriented chapter, BMSS presents a second chapter of remixes featuring three more daytime oriented Psytrance and Psy-Prog takes on the classic original track by Malta’s Soul Kontakt and BMSS head honcho Boom Shankar.

First up, recent signing Psychotropists from India and Germany, presenting a veritable romper stomper for the morning hours. BMSS's most recent signing Quasars (PsychicNova and Sci-Flyers from China, India and Switzerland) are next and speed the track up to an eye-watering 147bpm - maintaining the beauty of the original version alive whilst diving deep into the realms of the psychedelic. Finally, label stalwart Sabretooth masterfully embellishes the original version with his signature drive and acidic sound.

Another fine showcase of BMSS's versatility and creativity - on the cusp between night and day, darkness and light - this is an EP full of positive vibes and hopes for future global dancefloors.

In 1994, Raja Ram formed TIP Records, one of the original Goa-Trance / Psy-Trance labels based in the UK.  He had already been releasing music with his band The Infinity Project (T.I.P.) since the late 80's and after putting on, now legendary, TIP parties around this time, the idea to start a record label was conceived.

30 years on, TIP has gone from strength to strength with 100's of cutting-edge electronic music releases to date including highly respected classic dance music compilations right through to experimental downtempo and ambient music to a world wide (perhaps even inter-galactic)loyal following.

As ambassadors of the label, Raja Ram and DJ Lucas O'Brien (SuperModule) presented their label showcase touring the globe for over 20 years bringing the TIP sound to a wider audience.
The back catalogue reads like a who's who of the Psychedelic Trance scene and TIP helped many top artists to launch their careers.

Today, with a roster of sought after, quality and dynamic artists, TIP continues to bring music and joy to dance floors around the world!
