The second issue of Tiptop Audio Records attests to the label’s attitude towards developing a nuanced sound set to become a standard for production.
The line-up for Tiptop Records includes MATT LANGE, ANGLE, JOAO CESER, MARKUS FIX, BLACK SHAPE, DRUMCELL & LUIS FLORES, HUBOT, FLORIAN MEINDL, JOHN TEJADA, SCANNER, M.O.T., RIEMANN; the names of a scene now described as ‘Modular Techno’, which consists of a fast growing group of artists interested in expanding their compositional techniques through modular synthesizer systems.
The vinyl format is a testimony to the label’s dedication to produce music in a physical form.
It is an invitation to a territory of oscillations, and a trip of 10 (+ 2 extra digital) tracks that reconsiders the concept of sound design applied to electronic club music.

The project Eldorado is an Antonio Bacchiddu idea, it would create evocative sounds which could emanate images in the listener
imagination.The Tommy Bianchi production at the White Sound Mastering Studio has let this spark be and everything slowly started
to grow up.
The suggestion to the 80’s,90’s and 2000’s are disclosed e renascent with a new dress,metallic and compact but with countless levels
of depth. Eldorado is minimal in it’s essential concept: structures and melodies they move like in a circle or a mantra but spontaneous
like sport o games for children. Because of this there are a lot of possible direction and Elastica Records gave to this an essential
contribute with a declination of Eldorado sound in four different and incredible nuances.
The Deleted Soul,Gropina,Tuzzy and Bangalore remixes are a journey through four worlds,far and close at the same time,four
windows on a common universe and the final result is amazing.
Eldorado project is audio and video. Nine songs walk together with nine dreams. A simple cardboard box,not original but
democratically pop, moves in a visionary space telling about the precarious balance in the human relationships. The cardboard box
becomes a graphic illustration,a little character with no facial expression,a receptacle that changes as the thoughts,emotions,vibration
that you put inside of it change.
The cardboardbox man dresses a neutral coverall and it represents the hard work to do to get the objective.
The objective in this case is: to express yourself.
The first song chosen with Elastica is “Witness” and the vision that goes with it is inspired by the sound of the snare drum that is a
sample of a tennis ball. This song tells about a relationship between two persons that sometimes is a match or a challenge a game.

Bosconi Home Cooked Beats brings together unreleased tracks from producers from Italy and elsewhere to raise money for the Banco Alimentare Onlus Foundation. This initiative tackles food waste and redistributes food surplus to charities helping provide meals to those in need in Italy, which are relied upon more than ever in response to this unprecedented moment of crisis. At the heart of the compilation and the artists who have contributed is a double mission: to support those who in this moment of need still have an essential right to food, and also for these artists to be recognised by Italian social and cultural institutions, which for the most part still do not see us as entirely ‘professional' figures. All proceeds from sales of the compilation and individual tracks up to 31 August 2020 will be donated to the charity.

In late 2009, Gur Milstein started building unique musical instruments in his Hollywood California lab. As the market for his creations got larger and hotter other like minded people, who are equally unconventional in their thinking about audio, joined him. Fast forward six years, and today some of the world’s finest electronic musicians synthesize their sounds and form their creations with Tiptop Audio instruments.

Tiptop Audio Records is all about the love of the synthesizer. It is the brainchild of the designers who celebrate these tracks made by artists bold enough to master this new technology. This integration between the Tiptop Synthesizer machine and man highlights the symbiotic relationship between technology wizards and the best of electronic music composers.
