The music of Herrhausen & Treindl provokes a feeling that is similar to standing on the glittering peak of an alpine panorama and watching an avalanche descending the slope of a nearby mountain, a feeling that is similar to looking down a 100-meter cliff and watching giant waves crashing against the coast in the salty mist of an early morning. You’re witnessing something extremely powerful and compelling, a true force of nature, but at the same time you feel perfectly relaxed and peaceful, almost in a state of meditation. The slow-motion grooves of Herrhausen & Treindl send us on a dreamlike journey of otherworldly beauty.
