How did this happen? It’s been almost 10 years since our life-changing WINTER MIX. And now… finally… here’s a new one. We’ve been playing regularly but just never got around to releasing the recordings - until now. This is a 2.5 hour journey, recorded live at FUSION!

For the past 3 years, we’ve been invited by the amazing people at Tube Box. Huge shoutout to all (!) the crew, and especially Thomas!

These are the same people who threw our last bigger set, opening for @GJonesbass and @Eprom. Sadly, that recording was lost. But this new set picks up where that left off - reversed, reworked, and with plenty of new additions. So if you missed that one or our FUSION set… just play this one backwards to get the vibe (joking, obviously).

Expect signature blends, hard cuts, and smooth transitions. Get ready for a wild @DJride!

Recently, longer sets have become a thing for us. While our ideal set length used to be 90 minutes, we hit a personal record last year with a 12+ hour set at a friend’s wedding. This one’s long too - and different: we’re taking you on a journey that moves down in tempo, instead of building up. Starting fast and slowing down while keeping energy is surprisingly tricky.

We started at 3 AM with juke-y uptempo as Drumbule lit up Tube Box. We caught the crowd outside and took them along for the ride. Mid-set, there was even a tea ceremony -you might catch UK lokals clinking their teapots in the background. 

At sunrise, we dropped (for us) a good dose of 140 BPM driving dubstep—right as the rave goblins wandered past and filled the dancefloor. We closed the set with a proper SATURATE SLUG and SLIME fest. And later? People went missing in the morning fog…

"TISKOS latest Slowhouse-Dub Production "A Dubalicous journey to planet Arp" is a one-man and one-take live session recorded in June 2018. All Tunes are exclusively composed for this mix, all of them feature some arpeggiators increasing to the end. The live-Set was performed by "Bîedérmånn (TISKO)" with Maschine MK2 and two Kaoss Pads."

Ein Tisch, drei Jungs, viele bunte Knöpfe...

Seit 2012 stellen sich die Hamburger gemeinsam an den Diskotisch und produzieren feinsten On-the-fly-slowhouse-Dub. Mit verschiedenen Synthesizern, Controllern und Loop-Machinen spielt sich das Trio in der Regel um 105 BPM ein. Was die drei vereint ist die Liebe zu elektronischen Klängen, der Spaß an technischen Geräten und die Freude am gemeinsamen Schaffensprozess. Jeden Freitag und immer dann wenn Zeit ist, werden im TISKO-Raum fingergefilterte Basslines, handgetapte Chords und live-modulierte Snares in klassischer Dub-Manier weiter verarbeitet. Dabei entstehen Housebeats, deren klassischer 4-to-the-floor-Beat immer mal wieder durchbrochen wird.
Eine angemessene Portion Ehrgeiz und viel Herzblut seitens der Musiker sorgten im Jahr 2014 dafür, dass aus Studio-Jams Live-Jams wurden: Bei ersten Live-Auftritten wurde das Publikum mit einem vielseitigen, tanzbaren Sonnenauf&untergangs Sound überzeugt. Improvisierte, einzigartige und nicht-reproduzierbare Loop-Musik.

Henning, der Mann mit dem Synthesizer-Kaufrausch- und Technik-Optimierungs-Tick, hat das Master-Ohr der Crew und steht in der TISKO-freien Zeit an den Turntables: www.soundcloud.com/henningbuerger.

Dubjunkie Martin feuert mit der Native Maschine einen Großteil der Samples ab und ist sowas wie der Kameltreiber für die Crew. Außerhalb des Diskotischs rappt er als ‚Bunny Manson‘ u.a. für: www.fb.com/fiftysixboysboys.

Der LFO-Experte Til steht als Analog- und Improfetischist an den Synthesizern und liebt sein Kaoss Pad. Außerdem ist er als Nischenrapper ‚Mighty Eno‘ bekannt und für www.fb.com/radiodorfdepp unterwegs.
